George Franklin Lane

George Franklin Lane, 82, died in a Stigler hospital Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Assembly of God Church here* with Reverend W. S. Lindsey officiating. Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler will direct burial in Iron Bridge Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Anna, two sons, Floyd of McCurtain; and Keys of Omaha, Nebraska; six daughters, Mrs. Lee Davis and Mrs. Gladys Decker, both of McCurtain, Mrs. Mabel Eidschun and Mrs. Fay Ballard, both of Omaha, Mrs. Martha Barkley of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mrs. Stella Gorman of Bakersfield, California; a brother, Robert of Muskogee; three sisters, Mrs. Sally Meadows, Mrs. Myrtle Barnett and Mrs. Susie Davis, all of Bakersfield, and numerous grandchildren.

Funeral services for Anna Lane, 84, will be held Monday at 2 p.m., in McCurtain Assembly of God Church with Reverend W.S. Lindsay officiating. Mallory Funeral Home will direct burial in Iron Bridge Cemetery.

Born May 9, 1891, in Danville, Kentucky, Mrs. Lane died Thursday in a local hospital.** Survivors include five daughters, Martha Barkley of Kansas City, Missouri, Mabel Eidschun of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Fay Ballard of Omaha, NB, Gladys Decker of McCurtain and Stella Worth of Blythe, California: two sons, Keys of Omaha and Floyd of McCurtain; 33 grandchildren, and a sister, Margaret Ortoleva of Fullerton, California.

Note: Gladys, Stella and Floyd were step-children. Their Mother was Bessie Lee (SHORT) Lane. Anna's maiden name was Stanfield.
