BELIEVER…has a true conversion,
Like the martyrs of old;
Compromise…they would not,
In their faith…they were bold.

Would a man die for a lie?
Surely…he would not;
But, for the truth…standing fast,
His belief…all he's got.

Like Stephen, before they stoned him,
Raised his eyes toward Heaven;
And, he did behold JESUS,
Sitting at the right hand of our Father. (Acts 7:55,56)

The BELIEVER...endued with power,
Power from on High;
Has the power to live here on earth,
And, has the power, also…to die.

Holding firm to their persuasion,
Denying not our LORD;
Their lives a testimony,
To a loving…Eternal God.

UNBELIEVER…there is hope there,
Though he doubts and questions all;
Still, he is open-minded,
And, his mouth not filled with gall.

He doesn't try to be something,
Something that he is not;
He could be still "searching",
For something he's not got.

Sometimes pessimistic,
Or even skeptical;
Of someone still "searching",
This is typical.

He hasn't all the answers,
He's looking everywhere;
Sometimes in the strangest places,
But, give-up will he?…ne'er!

Someday the "light" shall go on,
Damascus Road…again;
Given a chance to believe,
We just don't know quite…when.

MAKE-BELIEVER…something quite different,
Always looking good…on the outside;
Perhaps raised in a church,
And, even been baptized.

The outside of the vessel,
Clean…as clean can be;
But, what lurks beneath the surface,
Not a pretty thing to see.

The outside of the vessel…polished,
Shining…as brand-new;
A pillar in the community,
Are these appearances…true?

Sometimes he thinks that he is "saved",
For, that's how he has been taught;
But, when the crunch comes,
All can see that he is not.

He's tried to do all things right,
Every day of his life;
Still, it's not enough,
Through the hardest times…to suffice.

What do you chose to be,
BELIEVER…UNBELIEVER…MAKE-BELIEVER?
One full of faith…one "searching",
And, one thinking he is a true receiver.

I'd rather be a BELIEVER,
Walking…daily with my LORD;
This thing called "life"…not,
Real life is in the Spirit….Spirit of our God.

True…the UNBELIEVER,
There's a bit of hope…there;
For the "searching" heart, God can deal with,
As he "searches"…everywhere.

MAKE-BELIEVER…there's the problem,
Outside of the cup so clean; (Mat. 23:25)
Will take a sovereign working of our God,
To show him…he's unclean.

But, with our God…all things possible,
No limits placed on Him;
His Love is far-reaching,
He will show us the cause and cure for sin!
