Is there a rainbow off there,
Off there…in the distance?
There it is…on the horizon,
Let’s make that distinction.
For every rainy day that comes,
Into our lives can be;
A time when watering we need,
His life come forth…for others to see.
How is your garden growing,
Has His Word…His Seed been planted deep;
Does it need a little watering,
Then, a little rest…a little sleep?
Gardens need a lot of care,
Our Maker…the best Gardener…ever;
He knows just what we need,
A garden of great beauty…His endeavor.
So, if today…the rain comes,
Dark clouds on the horizon;
Soak up all that moisture…knowing,
Every cloud has a silver lining.
And, after the storm is over,
A rainbow shall appear;
God’s promise to all of creation,
That with Him closeby…we need not fear.
Remember the rainbow,
When storm clouds hover overhead;
See the end…from the beginning,
Nothing…we need dread!
