O Glorious Resurrection,
The stone rolled away;
The tomb not full, but empty,
On this, my thoughts did play.

All this was spoken by my Lord,
So many days before;
And now, the thoughts come rushing back,
His promises assured.

He is risen...He is risen,
God has raised Him from the dead;
No longer dead is He,
Raised...as He said.

Sin no longer has dominion,
He has broken all the chains;
The prison doors are flung open,
Our Lord does rule and reign.

Why not ask Him into your life,
An exchanged life, offers He;
Lay down your life of struggle,
Receive His life...so glorious and free.
