The dawn of a new year, a gracious day;
A new year with you dear, if say that I may.
A new beginning with new twists and bends;
I hope we can stay together until this new year ends.
For the life of me I cannot say why;
But with your being here,
From the start of this grand new year,
From the beginning to the end my dear;
My new year is filled with,
Yes to the brim with,
My New Year is filled with life.

One day;

In the shining sun's light so bright,
or in the silvery moon's twilight;
I will look into those beautiful eyes of thine,
Ask ask of thou "Shalt thou be forever mine?"
And you shall answer, if you ever,
"Yes, we shall be together"
But Alas,
That day has not come to pass;
So I sit and wait and hope and pray
that soon shall come this joyous day
