We got our independence from Pakistan in 1971 after a devastating war of 9 months. My father was a freedom fighter. When the war began, he was a captain of the Pakistan Army. Love for our beloved mother land led him to the war leaving his new wife at home. Like my father many patriot went the war to save our beloved country from Pakistan. After the war my father wrote a book named , where he gathered his expereince at war. This was the first book published in Bengali about the WAR of 1971. I am proud of my father who was a Major General in Bangladesh Army
