In the eighties, he was part of a band called Lyrix. When he left, the band formed into the "Mark Williamson Band." His solo career started in 1986 when he released Vision on the Reunion label. Two of the many highlights of this energetic project include "Love For the Common Man" and the classic "It Was Love." After Vision, he shifted his focus from being an artist to songwriting, producing, and singing background vocals for many classic projects. Moving to Sparrow and releasing Wonderful World in 1995, came the hit: "Everlasting Love," the favorite: "Breath of Heaven," and the tear-jerker: "Remember Me."

But here we are now with his latest: What Kind of Love, the release that contains songwriting help from Amy Grant, Rob Marshall, and Marty Magahee of 4HIM. The project includes the fearful, worshipful "God So Loved the World," the instrumental "Everywhere I Go," and the energetically reflective "Shooting Stars."

The wait for Wonderful World was an incredibly long nine years; What Kind of Love arrived only three years later. Hopefully it will not be much longer until his next project is on its way to completion.
