SAE stands for SOCIETY OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS.AMACE students now have the chance to become members of this world renowned association.SAE opened up a students chapter in AMACE last year in a gala function.SAE worldwide president Dr.DAVID HALLOWAY presided over the function and made it a grand success.
Being members of SAE opens up many new oppurtunities for the students.Students get an oppurtunity to attend National and International conferences on many advance topics.They get a chance to participate in various design competitions whereby they can prove their engineering prowess.
TOPISTE stands for INDIAN SOCIETY OF TECHNICAL ENGINEERS.This is a large body of engineers from various disciplines. AMACE became the formal member of ISTE students chapter in the year of 1997.This chapter has its headquarters at IIT-DELHI.
Being members of ISTE enables students of AMACE to visit various technological institutes like IIT. Moreover they get a chance to attend invited lectures of various well known personalities.
In the month of jan-97 a decision was taken to start a students club in the campus that will help students to get more exposure to practical aspects of life.As a consequence the students chapters of ROTARACT was started.Now ROTARACT has become one of the largest club in the college.Apart from cultural activities the club organises many rural contact programmes.Many free medical camps have been organised with some help from other organisations.These programmes are aimed helping the poor and the needy.
The students of AMACE also enjoy being active members of NSS or NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME. Members of NSS set out to work for the upkeep of nature.They organise cleanup camps inside temples and keep the premises clean.Many tree-planting camps are also organised every year.
