Bipolar Parent Online Support

If you are the parent of a young child or adolescent diagnosed with bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness), please join us on the Internet. Our on-line support group (called a "listserv") has over 200 families with experienced parents sharing coping skills, treatment information, emotional support and parenting tips that may be hard for you to find in your local community. To find us: go to the "Parents of Bipolar Children" home page: http://www.geocities.com/EnchantedForest/1068/ and request a subscription to the free listserv. Another web site, "Bipolar Children and Teens Home Page," has many links to other sites: http://members.aol.com/DrgnKpr1/BPCAT.html Peggy, the ten-year-old daughter of one of our families, has bipolar disorder and has been hospitalized twice. She is a great artist. You Can visit her web site at Band-Aids and Blackboards under "Peggy's Story" at: http://funrsc.fairfield.edu/~jfleitas/peggy.html You are not alone? See you on the 'Net!
