The Country Cottage

The Cottage wishes to express its gratitude to the fine artists who have shared their beautiful work with us. We are currently featuring the stained glass artwork of Shadowymist. In addition to the one on the main floor of the cottage, and one upstairs, here is another beautiful graphic.

Be sure to visit this lovely site!

The Cottage staff expresses thanks to Jim Behlen,Jr. who has graciously allowed us to show his painting. Jim learned to paint as a boy, but began painting seriously in 1991. He is a former apprentice of Thomas Kinkade.

The painting displayed is named PRINCESS and the original is a 12x16 acrylic and oil on canvas. Jim told me that this painting is of a real mansion outside of Bakersfield, Ca.

The PRINCESS, as well as other fine paintings of Jim's, can be made into beautiful postcards by visiting Jim's webpage.

Here, you will also find many interesting pages created by family members.
