THE ONLY ONE OF HIS KIND: Sure, Angel's a vampire, but he's also the only vamp in the world with a soul...in 1898, he killed the favorite daughter of a gypsy tribe and they in turn cursed him by giving him his soul and concience back

1898-PRESENT: He has tried to atone for what he did when he was evil by helping people in need and battling the evil demons of the world, especially in Los Angeles

PALS: Cordelia and Wesley, his partners in business...he was also friends/lovers with Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, but he didn't take too kindly to her just forgetting about him and getting involved with Riley...not sure what he thinks of the Slayerettes though

TWIST OF FATE: He dusted Darla when she tried to kill Buffy...but Darla's back...the gang at Wolfram and Hart brought her back with some kind of ritual (blasted demon lawyers...why can't they mind their own damn business?)

WHAT DOES HE THINK OF SPIKE AND DRU?: As Angel, I'm not too sure what he thinks of D&S, but I've gotten the impression he and Spike aren't all that friendly
