- Hey, all!! First time I've updated two days in a row in a while!! Anyway, just a couple news items. The Boys are going to be on the cover of Alloy magazine for the March/April issue.

- At last nights show in Denver, CO, Kevin was MIA (Missing In Action). He has flown to Los Angeles to do a photo shoot (probably for the Teen People cover he's gonna be on) and wasn't able to make it to the show because weather troubles prevented his flight from landing at Denver International Airport. But, the Nick, AJ, Brian, and Howie did a spectacular job without Kevin, from what my friends tell me. Refunds were offered for those not satisfied with only four Backstreet Boys, but only a few were taken up.

- Don't forget to watch the Grammys tonight at 8pm on CBS. The Boys are up for one Grammy and they better win this time. I think they've more than earned one. They deserve it. They're up for Best Pop Performance by a Duo/Group with Vocals for "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely. Hey, maybe Kevin will be at the Grammys if he's not already in Denver!! Maybe his flight was meant to keep him there to accept the Boys' Grammy!! There goes my imagination again..... I always do that....

- First, I'd like to say "Happy 26th Birthday!!" to Brian. Twenty-six years ago today the finishing touches to the Backstreet Boys destiny was fulfilled when Brian was born. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRIAN!!

- There are some rumors going around that Destiny's Child will be going on tour with the Backstreet Boys, but neither group has comfirmed. The female group did say they are planning to kick off a tour on June 16th.

- According to Krystal's manager, the Boys will be appearing in Krystal's first video, "Supergirl". Krystal has already done a duet with AJ called "You're The Reason" and I think they performed it together at one of the Boys concerts. She is the first artist signed to the Boys' own soon-to-renamed record label and is the opening act for the Boys' 2001 Black & Blue World Tour.

- Brian was spotted at the NBA All-Star Game last weekend, after playing in the celebrity game with Nick earlier that day.

- Brian and AJ were both sitting in the audience behind Howie and Kevin on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, showing their support for their fellow bandmates. Nick wasn't there because he was down in Florida doing a Disney Special. It's probably the Carter Family Special that's supposed to air next month.

- On the UK release of "The Call", Howie has production credit for both of the Soul Solution Remixes of "Shape Of My Heart", which are the B-Sides to that single.

- The Boys have some big press coming up. They'll be on the cover of Teen magazine (May issue)and Kevin will be on the cover of Teen People's "Men Who Rock" issue (June issue).

- The Boys have a couple TV appearances. They'll be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on March 16 at 11:35pm on NBC. They will also be on Fox Family's 24/7. The air date will be announced soon.

- Black & Blue was certified 13x platinum this past week!! And it's been out less than three months!!! Congratulations, Boys! And Way to go, Backstreet Fans!

- There will be a new homevideo released early April. It's called Around The World and it's a documentary-style film about the Boys "Black & Blue Promo Tour. It has exclusive footage of all their stops, performances, and footage from aboard the jet. It also includes a exclusive performance of "Shape Of My Heart". Be sure to go get it when it come out. It's a must-have for all BSB fans.

- Three BSB concerts made it into the Top North American Concert Grosses: 1. Altanta, GA on Jan. 27th, with $2,371,453 2. Sunrise, FL on Jan. 22nd-24th with $1,962,179 and 4. Charlotte, NC on Jan. 26th with $985,235.

- On Valentine's Day, Howie was in Canada to donate $27,500 from his Lupus Foundation to the Chatham-Kent Alliance. He was two hours late to present the check because of weather problems, but he apologized for being late to all the media and the small group of fans that were waiting.

- JoJo, DJ for 102.7 KIIS FM, Los Angeles, said on the radio a couple days ago that he thinks "More Than That" will be the next single, but he's not a 100% sure.

- When the guys were in Chicago for a concert, they appeared in WGN and Kevin had no facial hair. He shaved off his goatee!! That's okay. He's still incredibly sexy!!

- Just one thing I'm sure you want to know. If you live anywhere near the Washington Convention Center, Brian and Nick will be playing in the Nestle Crunch Celebrity Basketball Game (time unknown). - In a newsletter about the Boys' opening act, Krystal, it named the Boys' record company "Street Records", but that name will be changed due to legal reasons. The new name will be announced soon.

- AJ recorded a duet with Krystal called "You're The Reason". I've heard it and it sounds really good. To hear it, go to Backstreet Millennium. She has the whole song on her site.

- Nick has a little bit of family on the road with him. His sister, BJ has been spotted at several concerts and one of the Backstreet Dancers is his cousin, Lauren Danielle Carter. She a cutie!! And a great dancer.

- On February 5th, the Backstreet Boys were Rolling Stone Daily's "Artist Of The Day". There was a little story on the Valentine's Day calls for fans, which the people at Rolling Stone apparently liked.

- Former Backstreet Band member, Tommy Smith is now a member of the O-Town Band. His site, BSBBand.com will be changed to either the "O-Town Band" or just "Tommy Smith Site", so he wouldn't have to change the name of the site should he change bands again.

- The official tour operater for the Backstreet Boys' 2001 Black & Blue World Tour gave 80 people in Salvation Army programs the chance to see the Backstreet Boys in concert last night, I believe it was. I'm not sure if they will continue to do that throughout the rest of the tour.

- Lionel Richie will not be able to use a track called "Cinderella" with the Backstreet Boys singing background. Jive Records feels that the song will end up competiting with one of the Boys future singles. It was agreed upon to be available when the Boys and Lionel Richie both said they'd put on their albums. Now that Black & Blue was released without the track, it's not being used. Lionel Richie says the track was custom-made for the Backstreet Boys and the track is really strong with them on it.

- Kevin will be replacing Nick on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?. The Kevin and Howie were in New York City this past week taping the special rock stars edition. Howie will be donating the money he wins to his Lupus Foundation and Kevin will donate the money he wins to his environmental foundation, "Just Within Reach".

- The Backstreet Boys are up for two Blockbuster Awards: "Favorite Group of the Year" and "Favorite Group (Internet Only". GO HERE to vote.

- A DJ on 102.7 KIIS FM, Los Angeles, (probably JoJo) was asked when he was going to do another Backstreet Boys remix. He said he was going to do a remix of the Boys' NEW single, "Get Another Boyfriend". It hasn't been confirmed that track will be the next single, but if it was JoJo, then it might be true since he's really good friends with the Boys.

- Jive Records now runs the Backstreet Boys Official Online Street Team. It was run by another company on behalf of Jive and the Backstreet Boys.

- On Monday, Howie will be on Good Morning America on ABC at 7am. Then on Tuesday, all the Boys will be on The Today Show on NBC at 8am. That same morning they will be on The View on ABC at 11am. So be sure to set your VCRs!!

- According to Rolling Stone's Top 20 list, Black & Blue is #6 and Backstreet Boys is #14.

- Nick has a new dog and it's not a pug, which is surprising since he's gotten four over the past couple years. I don't know his name, but I've seen a picture and it's very cute. Looks like it'll be one of those big dogs. He's already bigger than the pugs.
