The gory details of the party:
Srikanth missed Padmaja. Result : We felt Padmaja's presence and Srikanth's absence . (As usual, he refused to remove his shoes ) Kumar, Vidhya's husband who was not visiting, felt her absence so much that he fell sick. We plan to give him a special invitation when we meet next. Poonguzhali was desperately trying to charm a guy. The fact that he was just a year old didn't seem to matter. Raja was busy playing phone tabs with Shankar. Maybe his newly acquired Texan accent didn't ring a bell with Shankar. Ashok turned out to be the official photograbber with a variety of cameras hanging around his neck. He was seen struggling to pacify his newly acquired wife/camera to operate without him touching the button (self-timer). SS Kumar was found too tense (more than the ghost aka the host). Had to call up his wife in India to .... (we do not know the story guys, the phone was not tapped ) Sashi tasted wine for the first time the nth time. The oldest member in the Gang (Prasad) refused to sit in the middle chair for the group photograph because he thought he was too young for it ( Give us a break ) I realized the meaning of too many cooks spoiling the broth, the food had to be ordered. For the first time in MCA history the guys outnumbered the girls. (outside the class tough ) and Kumar didn't like it. The following morning, my neighbour enquired if I had got engaged the previous night (!!) What did you folks do(!!) I guess I'll never know.
Those who didn't make it :
A guy called Shankar doled on us. Jayshree had to go off to detroit as her brother promised to buy her a new car. Venkatraman and Ravi Gupta were found bird watching in Yosemite.
