(The crew is in the village, when something shoots into the sky)

Sinbad: What the devil?

Maeve: Firouz.

(They walk over to Firouz, who is working on his latest invention)

Sinbad: Firouz?

Firouz: Sinbad! You’re just in time. I’ve come up with a way to deliver the gemstone up to Rumina’s lair from the ground. Thus ensuring the massive collision between good and evil.

Sinbad: Uh huh.

Firouz: Oh, it’s really quite simple. You see, I’ve hollowed out a piece of bark and filled it with the powder from my exploding sticks. By rationing the powder, I’m forcing its combustibilities out a small aperture at the base of the tube. I, ah, well, watch. Stand back! Stand back!

(Firouz lights the cannon and sends the powder into the air, where it explodes)

Sinbad: Woah!

(Sinbad laughs)

Sinbad: Nice work, Firouz.

Aptor: It’s truly magic.

Firouz: Simple science.

Sinbad: How soon can you set another one of these things up?

Firouz: Give me an hour, and get the boat ready to sail.

Sinbad: Let’s chart a course.

Aptor: I know someone who can help us. One of the elders has actually been to Skull Mountain.

Maeve: And he returned safely?

Aptor: He returned. Come.

(They walk to where the man Aptor is talking about is)

(Rumina and Scratch are still talking)

Rumina: What wish?

Scratch: I’ll raise dear old daddy from the dead.

Rumina: You can do that?

Scratch: Oh, it’s not that hard for me. In my realm, well, let’s just say, some of my best friends are dead. (laughs)

Rumina: Do it!

Scratch: Oh, Rumina, you’re such a vile, lying, scheming wench! If I were just a thousand years younger…(pauses) You’d get used to the hoops.

Rumina: How can I trust such a disgusting creature as you?

Scratch: You agree to get rid of that seadog, I’ll bring back daddy to life, here and now. Well, not all of daddy. Just his head. (laughs) And after Sinbad and his crew are dead, and I’ve concealed their souls, I’ll reanimate the rest of Turok. Reattach the head to the body, with no visible scars. There. You can’t have a better deal than that!

Rumina: You have yourself a deal.

Scratch: I knew you wouldn’t let me down!

Rumina: This has nothing to do with you. Now bring my father back to me!

Scratch: It’s already done, little witch.

(Turok opens his eyes)

Turok: Rumina, my child. I’d embrace you, my dear, but frankly, I’m having a hard time grasping the enormity of my dilemma.

(Rumina turns around)

(The crew is talking to the man Aptor led them to)

Man: The sea as you know, Sinbad. Aside the great Skull Mountain here. Many vessels have entered into this boxed inland, but very few ever sail out again. From the skull, the sorceress sees all who enter this inlet here, and they play their plans accordingly. Over here, is the only place where you can land and survive. Over here, the other side of the island.

Sinbad: This looks good.

Doubar: But that great expanse! We’d be totally in the open! If Rumina should spy us, we’d be at her mercy.

Sinbad: We don’t have much of a choice. Old one, are you sure this is the exact layout of the island?

Man: Oh yes. I have it all engrained in my mind. I saw it all on my way onto the island, and I felt it on my way off. (leans forward into the light, so they can see the scars on his face)

Sinbad: Okay. Here’s what we’re gonna do…

(Rumina is watching Sinbad and the crew through her pool of water)

Rumina: How dare he think he has enough power to defeat me! (lifts Turok’s head)

Turok: Careful, my dear. Don’t let your anger get the best of you. Stay calm. Rational. I underestimated Sinbad once, and, well, you can see the results.

Scratch: Listen to your daddy, Rumina. Sinbad will be here shortly.

Rumina: Stay out of this!

Turok: Yes, whatever your name is! My daughter and I seek some quality time together.

Scratch: Not gonna happen! You might as well start getting used to me, Turok. We’re sort of like, ah, one big, happy family together. (laughs)

Turok: Why, you—! Ah, where are my manners? I should be thanking you.

Scratch: Spoken like a true master of the black arts.

Turok: My only regret is that I cannot shake your hand, embrace you, welcome you into the fold, as it were.

Scratch: (laughs) Thanks. I’ll take a rain check.

Turok: But why wait? Surely you could reanimate me? All of me, right now. That way, the three of us could enjoy the spectacle of Sinbad losing both his life and his soul arm-in-arm. Like—what was the phrase you used?—one big, happy family.

Scratch: A deal’s a deal, Turok. Now, you get your body when I get Sinbad’s soul. Don’t worry. I won’t cheat you. I don’t care about how much of the world you wish to conquer. I don’t care about how many innocent people you wish to destroy and enslave. All I want are their souls.

Turok: I assure you, my friend, that I was merely passing the time with idle chatter.

Scratch: Don’t push the argument, Turok. You don’t have a leg to stand on. (laughs)

Rumina: Quiet! Both of you. I’m trying to concentrate.

(The crew and some villagers are on the Nomad; they are near Skull Mountain)

Maeve: Thought we’d never see this place again…except in our nightmares.

Sinbad: Now it’s our turn to give Rumina a few bad dreams.

Scratch: (sniffs) I smell souls, little witch. Your greatest hour is at hand. (looks around and sees Rumina is not in the room) Don’t tell me she’s run away from her battle extraordinaire!

Turok: No daughter of mine would ever dream of such a thing.

Rumina: (enters the room, in different clothes) I thought I’d slip into something more comfortable.

Scratch: Works for me.

(The Nomad crew and villagers are on the island)

(Sinbad draws his sword)

Sinbad: Let’s go!

(They begin to run)

Scratch: I see you’re wearing my little trinket. Good. Good. A little bit of hellfire to (can’t make out what he says here) Yes. Why don’t you look into your fountain and see where Sinbad is?

Rumina: I know where he is. Exactly where I want him. He’s close by. I can feel him. I want to destroy them all in my (can’t make out what she says here) I want my face be the last they see in this world.

Turok: That’s daddy’s little girl.

Rumina: I’ve waited long enough. It’s time to summon the troops. (holds hands up in the air) Soldiers of war, those I did slay, come to my bidding, on this bloody day!

(Her magic makes skeletons, harpies, and rock monsters all come to life, and go after the crew and villagers)

(The crew and villagers are getting closer to Rumina’s lair, on Skull Mountain)

Doubar: Rumina!

Sinbad: We haven’t any time to lose! Come on!

(They all follow Sinbad)

(Rumina is still using her magic to conjure up monsters)

Rumina: (can’t make out what she says here)

(The crew and villagers see the harpies and skeletons)

Sinbad: Rumina’s getting better.

Doubar: Is she ever.

Sinbad: Let’s head back to the forest. Slowly.

(They turn around and find two rock monsters behind them)

Maeve: Say something. Say anything.

Sinbad: Well, it’s not going to be a walk in the countryside. If Rumina wants a fight, let’s give her one.

Turok: Daughter, don’t dally. Destroy them. Destroy them now!

Rumina: As you wish, Father, but in my own time.

Sinbad: Doubar? Rongar? Take the men. Keep those undead warriors back. Aptor, you and I will keep the harpies busy. Maeve, make sure Firouz gets to the back of Skull Mountain with his device to launch the jewel. You two accompany them. Stay low, move fast.

Doubar: Excellent plan, little brother. What about those overgrown rock piles?

Sinbad: We’ll have to improvise.

(Aptor hands Firouz the Gryphon’s Egg)

Firouz: I’ll defend it with my life, Sir.

Sinbad: Maeve? (gestures for her to follow him) Don’t hesitate to use any sort of magic you can think of, huh? And…be careful.

Maeve: Aye…aye…Captain…

(They lean in towards each other to kiss, but is interrupted by Firouz)

Firouz: We’re ready!

(Maeve turns to leave with Firouz, but turns back to Sinbad, who nods at her)

(Rumina is watching them through her pool of water)

Rumina: How touching. I hate touching! Attack! Attack! ATTACK!!!!!!!!

(All the undead warriors, rock monsters, and harpies begin to advance on the crew)

(Sinbad walks across the line of men, then turns towards the monsters)

Sinbad: (raises sword in the air) CHARGE!!!!!!!

(The crew and villagers run towards the monsters and fight them)

(One skeleton shows off in front of Rongar, showing off all the moves; when he is done showing off, Rongar defeats him)

(Firouz, Maeve, and a couple of the villagers are walking)

Maeve: (whispers) Stay low. Go!

(A harpy comes out from hiding behind a rock they are walking in front of)

(The crew and villagers are still fighting the monsters)

Sinbad: We’re outnumbered. We’re not going to make it. Everyone! Regroup! Meet up with Maeve and Firouz! Come on!

(Maeve and Firouz and the few villagers that are with them meet up with some harpies; Firouz notices that the others are coming, with harpies hot on their trail)

Firouz: Maeve!

(Maeve throws a fireball, hitting some of the harpies behind them)

Sinbad: Yeah! Come on!

(They catch up to Maeve and Firouz)

Sinbad: (laughs) I love it when you do magic!

Maeve: You’re welcome.

(That’s when they notice the two rock monsters coming their way, and a zillion skeletons all coming from all directions)

Firouz: We can’t go forward, and we can’t go back.

Sinbad: All right. I think it’s time we took out those moving mountains. Maeve, are you up to it?

(Maeve tries to form a fireball, but collapses onto Sinbad)

Sinbad: Maeve!

Maeve: I’m so sorry. I just can’t.

Firouz: Sinbad, it’s weakened her!

Sinbad: Firouz, we’re gonna have to rethink our plans. Get your missile ready. When I say fire, you fire!

Firouz: But what about the gemstone? Rumina?

Sinbad: The gemstone won’t matter if no one’s alive to deliver it! Now, just do as I say!

(Firouz does that)

Firouz: Ready.

Sinbad: Not yet.

Doubar: Sinbad, those things are almost on top of us!

Firouz: Now, Sinbad?

Sinbad: No! Aim for the second giant. Now just sit tight. That’s it. That’s it. Almost there.

Maeve: Doubar, he’s crazy!

Doubar: Like a fox. Firouz, light that fuse.

Sinbad: That’s it. Just a little bit closer. That’s it. Almost there. Firouz! Now! Fire! Fire! (ducks)

Firouz: Aye, aye, Captain! (fires cannon)

(The shot hits one of the rock monsters)

Sinbad: Yeah! A little more. A little more.

(The rock monster falls into the other one, destroying them both; everyone cheers)

Sinbad: The skeletons are still coming!

Doubar: Sinbad, we’ll never get that jewel up to Rumina.

Firouz: We might not make it out of here alive.

(Sinbad pulls the Gryphon’s Egg from around Firouz’s neck and looks to the sky)

Sinbad: DERMOTT!!!!!!!

(Dermott flies to them; Sinbad throws the gemstone up to him; Dermott misses on the first try, but flies around and catches it the second time)

Maeve: Dermott, stay out of harm’s way.

Sinbad: He’ll make it, Maeve. He’ll make it.

(Meanwhile, the skeletons are still advancing)

(Dermott is flying towards Skull Mountain, but is being chased by harpies; Rumina, Scratch, and Turok watch as Dermott drops the Gryphon’s Egg right on Skull Mountain; it makes the mountain begin to cave in)

(The undead warriors suddenly collapse, and the crew and villagers watch as Skull Mountain explodes; they call cheer)

(Rumina, Scratch, and Turok are panicking)

Turok: Rumina!

Rumina: Father!

(Dermott arrives back to Maeve)

Maeve: Oh, my brave, brave Dermott.

Sinbad: Back to the boat! Now! Quickly! Come on!

(Everyone runs back to the Nomad)

Scratch: Well, it’s been nice. Next time, practice. (disappears, laughing)

Turok: Rumina!

Rumina: You’ll pay for this, Sinbad!

(The crew and villagers are escaping the blast of the explosion)

Sinbad: Go! Go!

(The crew and villagers are celebrating back on the Nomad; one more blast from the explosion, and they all cheer; Maeve leaves the group and goes to Dermott, who looks the same; Sinbad follows her)

Sinbad: (looks at Dermott) Rumina survived, didn’t she?

(Maeve nods)

Sinbad: Maeve, I don’t know how you, Dermott, and Rumina are connected, but I swear to you, I’ll make sure we defeat her, or die trying.

Maeve: I know you will, Sinbad. I know. (hugs Sinbad)

(When Maeve and Sinbad let go of each other, Maeve suddenly shivers)

Sinbad: What is it, Maeve?

Maeve: Nothing. It’s nothing. I just got a chill. Come on. Let’s go celebrate with the others. At least Rumina won’t be bothering us for a while now. She has no home.

(They return to the others)

(Back in Rumina’s lair, there is a pile of rocks; a hand reaches out from underneath)

Turok: Alive! Alive! ALIVE! (laughs)
