SCOTT HALL def. KONNAN
Konnan didn't back down from the taller Hall, but the nWo Hollywood ace grabbed the early edge, working on Konnan's left arm. The two then exchanged paint brush-like slaps. Hall perfected his patented fall-away slam, then connected with a knife-edge chop on Konnan. Hall applied an abdominal stretch. Konnan answered with a rolling clothesline and a rollup led to a two-count. Hall secured the win with his Outsiders Edge.
RAVEN (With LODI) vs. HORACE  The back-stabbing was never more apparent than in the Raven-Horace match as, if you didn't have a scorecard for this battle, you'd be lost. Let's first look at the match
action:  Raven attacked Horace. Raven attempted to whack Horace with a stop-sign, but Lodi grabbed the sign from behind. Horace responded by kicking the sign into Raven's face. That lead to a two-count for Horace. Horace grabbed another two-count after a top-rope splash. Next, a slam and a splash by Horace. Raven sent Horace outside for some pain. When the action returned to the ring, Raven then sent his Flock into the fight. Enter Sick Boy, Kidman and Riggs.  Then the fun arrived. Saturn came to Horace's side. Horace eventually walloped Saturn.  Enter Kanyon.  This situation is completely out of control and heading for a fallout at Fall Brawl in September.
CHRIS JERICHO def. CHAVO GUERRERO, JR. by Disqualification
WCW Television Title Match
Chavo Guerrero, Jr., came out with a blitzing assault, in and out of the ring. Guerrero sliced Jericho. Jericho answered with a mighty suplex, which led to a two-count. Jericho then attacked with a revised surfboard, a reverse spinkick, a knife-edge and a choke. Guerrero's offense included a series of full-force punches, followed by a bulldog that led to a two-count. Jericho tormented Guerrero's trusty sidekick, Pepe, in a physical way, but Guerrero answered by grabbing a second stick-horse from under the ring. He whacked Jericho, forcing referee Charles Robinson to call for the immediate bell.
DISCO INFERNO & ALEX WRIGHT def. PUBLIC ENEMY
Meng is loose! That's all you need to say. And everyone in this match will attest, as will The Barbarian, Jimmy Hart and a WCW security officer.  As the team of Disco Inferno and Alex Wright (and probably also Tokyo Magnum, although he was suffering the effects of being smashed into a wooden table in the corner by Johnny Grunge) was celebrating, Meng broke up the party. With his lethal Tongan Death-grip for all. Wright grabbed an early edge on Rocco Rock -- a series of punches and kicks from Wright. Grunge blitzed Disco. Grunge executed a tilt-a-whirl slam on Wright.
KEVIN NASH vs. CURT HENNIG
Kevin Nash opened the fight with a series of attacks on Curt Hennig in the corner. He even pushed his luck as the referee twice reached a four-count, one before a DQ. Hennig countered by working on Nash's left knee. Rick Rude eventually entered the fray, which was just an in-ring ploy to distract Nash from Scott Hall who arrived with a flurry of punches and kicks for his former Outsiders mate. Lex Luger came to Nash's aide.
STEVIE RAY def.. EDDY GUERRERO
Eddy Guerrero's early high-octane offense wasn't enough to withstand the infuriated Stevie Ray who, moments earlier, actually challenged Giant to a one-on-one fight.  Stevie Ray scored the win with his patented Slapjack.
