I work for North Hawthorne Car shops, and we produce both custom and small quantity decal runs. NHCS, named after the old Susquehanna shops in N. Hawthorne NJ, sells through my store (Casey's CAMERA) and at train shows. I do mostly trains and related subjects including town Police, Ambulance, Fire Dept. and DPW for model train layouts. I am VERY picky about how a set goes together, and must match a specific prototype.
Since I also use Corel Draw! (V5.0) and Photoshop (V3.0.5), I can scale to just about any size. I use an Alps MD1000 and have a good supply of 8.5x11 clear decal paper on hand. My list grows more each day, but here is a start (scale designed in and model manufacturer included if applicable):
*HO Green Mountain Railway
(Atlas) Alco S4 & RS1's Various stripe & number versions
*HO NAPORANO PS2 Covered Hopper
(AHM & others)
*O & HO New York Dock
Railway GE44 tonners Orange/Silver or Yellow/Silver scheme
*N CHEX (Atlas)
ACF Covered Hoppers (3 per set)
*N DOWX (Atlas) ACF
Covered Hoppers (3 per set)
*HO FNM (Federal Railways of Mexico)
PA1 DH17 in 2 tone Blue & red stripes
*O Genessee & Wyoming
40ft Boxcar
*O INMONT double Airslide
Covered Hopper
*HO Seminole Gulf Railway modification
set for Microscale Bay Colony decal set
*HO NYS&W Green exBN SD45's
and F45's modification set for Microscale BN decal set
*HO NYS&W MOW trucks (Chevy
and Ford Pickup trucks)
*HO&O TP&W GP20's in NYS&W
Yellow and Black
More always in production. Requests
always taken. I'll send more soon.

My name is Paul Tupaczewski, and I produce
decals under the Prime Mover Decals label. I contract out my printing to
a commercial printer for most sets, but this is only cost-effective for
large runs. For smaller run
decals, particularly sets in scales other
than HO, I use my Alps MD1300 to create the sets. I also do custom work
for short-term runs (recent examples include Lackawanna "streamstyled"
Pacifics).
All sets on my homepage (http://www.interactive.net/~paultup/primemover.html)
are available in any
scale; E-mail me for more information!

I'm an HO scale modeler focusing upon the Atlantic & Yadkin Railway
(Sanford
to Mt. Airy, NC shortline) between 1945 and 1955. I am also interested
in the
Southern Railway during this time period.
I'm using CorelDraw 7 and my ALPS-1000 along with Ben Coifmann's Railroad
Roman font to develop decals for the A&Y steam engines (after 1950
the line
was owned and controlled by the Southern and used Southern diesels).
I'm also researching for designs ofactual business signs from that era
and
region to create decals.
In a separate project, I'm trying to research and replicate the font used
for
the subsidiary lettering on Southern diesels (especially the Carolina &
North
Western) that are not produced by commercial decal manufacturers.
This will
involve creating a new font (sigh).

I am owner of Shawmut Car Shops and I produce
G scale model railroad equipment. I have a web page on www.largescale.com
under manufacturing.
I make all my own decals using Print Master
7.0 until the Printiva gets here from Egghead. I understand it have software
included.
But maybe, Printmaster will print OK on
the Printiva as I need to make custom declas for my G scale customers.
I build G scale gas-electric motorcars,
pickle cars, and do custom lettered cars for individuals or groups.
