"My daughter began to experience fainting and dizziness in the early months of 1996. After regaining consciousness she would feel tired and lethargic for the rest of the day. She was 19 years old and had not experienced these spells previously. Doctors had diagnosed the problem as teenage syncope which lowered her blood pressure but were temporary and would disappear in time. Rest was the suggested treatment.
