Maxfield Parrish
(1870-1966)

Maxfield Parrish was one of the most popular 
American artists of all time. During his long 
career, he completed an astounding 889 pieces 
of art.  In the 1920's, one in 
four American homes had a Parrish art print on 
the wall.  Unlike many artists, Parrish enjoyed 
fame and wealth throughout his staggering long 
career. It seems that every generation discovers 
Parrish's genius and embraces it. Maxfield Parrish 
original art prints and calendars tend to 
be very good investments.  However, Parrish 
collecters, as a rule, tend to search out work in 
the very best of condition.
Recently, the original oil painting of Daybreak 
sold at auction for 4.3 million dollars.
