I have put together this web site for the Venus batch of 1997 because I do not wish to have the wonderful memories of our High School life fade into the past. I intend to make them last forever.

Venusians, I hope that this web site will constantly remind you of everything that you've been through, the ups and downs of our High School life. And I do hope that you appreciate the effort I have put into making the web site.

When I got the web site up loaded to Tripod, I sent an e-mail to ceasar@auf.com.ph. I told him that the High School batch of 1997 now has its own web site. I asked him to take a look at it and if he found it presentable enough, may be he could help us publish and promote it by giving us a hyper link from the auf home page. About the Venus Distribution List.

I just came across a great site last night. The URL www.egroups.com.

What is it? Well it is a sort of a group email account or more precisely, a ditribution list. If you subscribe to the Venus97 distribution list, any mail sent to the list (venues97@egoups.com) will be distributed to all its members. It is very easy to add and remove yourself from the list.

This will be very useful in the long run. It will make every Venusian able to get in touch with each other very easily in the future. So check it out now!

Ang mga e-mails natin ay maaring basahin mula sa alin mang kompyuter na nakaduktong sa Internet. Ang e-mail address ay auf_hs_venus97@hotmail.com. Kung wala kayong sariling e-mail account, maaari ninyong gamitin ang ating e-mail account sa hotmail. Pero I suggest you get one for yourself and inform me so that I can change the contact info in your student profile.

Anyway, the username for the group e-mail account is "auf_hs_venus97" and the password is "ang pangalan ng paborito kong kinakain sa room." I'm sure that you know this. It got me into some troubles with our teachers before. Pagduktong-duktonging niyo ang mga salita.... OK na ba? If not ask Marlon or myself.

Venusians, sorry for the pictures. Some of them were blurred because the originals were too. Also, those are probably all the pictures I can afford to have. My 5 megabytes from Tripod has already been used up and I am not even finished with the student and teachers profiles yet. I will try my best to get some more on line for you soon. But I cannot promise anything. Also, if it works out, kuya Mike will try to help me get our pages over to the auf server for faster viewing from the AUF Cyberspace.

I've been playing around with some midi files. If you are using the Internet Explorer, you should hear a midi sound play while viewing the homepage. I don't think Netscape supports the bgsound tag.

Anyway, if you do hear it and you don't like it, just press stop and it will stop playing.

If you don't see a picture on you profile, I am very sorry. It means that I was not able to scan your picture or find it in any of the scanned ones.

If you do wish to have your photo online, please send me your photo and I will scan them for you as soon as I can. OK!

Sorry! But work has been very slow because I have been busy making some "sport kites". You know those kites that have two lines and that you can control, well, they have been taking up some of my time.

Anyway, all the pictures are now up loaded. Including the graduation and the ACAA and CLRAA pics. Just visit the Photos page. All Honor student profiles have been updated and others will follow soon. The new Guest book is also operational as you can see. And the teachers will soon have their profiles as well. I will be needing some help though. Venusians, if you have any suggestions or comments please let me know. Send me an e-mail by clicking here.

I guess it stops here. Please do keep those guestbook entries and e-mails coming, and please spread the word about our web site to all our fellow Venusians.
