Chapter 61

Everyone brought their stuff up their rooms and put it all away. "What should we do?" Kristin asked. "I don't know, sleep," Kate suggested. "Ok, you do that. I'm going outside," Beth said as she walked out of the room. A couple secends later Kristin and Kate saw her walking outside the window. She sat down in the middle of the yard. Then, 30 seconds later Beth got up and came back inside. As she walked into the room, Kate asked, "Back so soon?" "Yeah," Beth replied. Isaac walked into the the room and asked, "Who wants to go to the mall?" "You're offering to take us to the mall? I thought you hated the mall!" Beth exclaimed. "I do, but I want to get this really cool cd." "Ok, we'll go," Kristin said, getting up from her bed. "You have five minutes, and you better be out there or we're going to leave without you," Isaac said, walking out of the room. The girls grabbed their money and their coats and went outside in the car where the boys were waiting. "Hey! Three minutes! That's a record time!" Taylor exclaimed, looking at his watch. "Oh you be quiet!" Kate said. When they got to the mall, they decided to split up. "We'll meet you at the food quart in an hour," Taylor said, as the girls went one way and the boys went the other. They all had fifty dollors to spend and it seemed that the girls' money went faster than the boys' did. The hour passed quickly, and Beth, Kate, and Kristin were late to meet the boys. "You're 20 minutes late," Isaac pointed out. "Sorry, that last store had tons of stuff I liked, so I had to try everything on. Then I had to stand in the lines for like, five minutes," Beth apologized. "Well, let's go now," Isaac said. "Already? But we hardly looked, and we still have the whole bottom floor," Kate argued. "You're joking," Zac mused. "No, we haven't looked down there yet." "Too bad we're leaving. Now!" Taylor claimed, practically pushing the girls to the door. Just as they were about out the door when a bunch of girls started running and screaming at them. "Run!" Zac yelled, as they all ran as fast as they could to the car, ditching the fans way back. "Ike, could we go to a movie?" Zac asked. "Well, I guess so. We can catch a six o'clock show." They parked in the parking lot, and walked in the building. "Oh look, we're just in time to see Spice World. That starts at 6:45," Taylor said. "Oh look, we're just in time to see Titanic. That starts at 6:30," Kristin said. "Ok, fine, you go see your movie, we'll see ours. I don't know why you have to see that movie again. You already saw it once," Zac said as they got up to the ticket booth to get the tickets. Only to find out Titanic was sold out. "Oh great, now what are we going to see," Kate grumbled. "Spice World with us. Six for Spice World please," Isaac said, before any of the girls could object. "Oh great, now not only do we not get to shop long enough, we have to see the stupidest movie on Earth," Beth said. (No offense to anyone who likes the Spice Girls.) Before they went into the movie Taylor called home to tell his mom where they were. Then they all got a pop, popcorn, and a box of candy. The seating arrangement from left to right was Kristin, Kate, Beth, Taylor, Zac, then Isaac. Everytime the girls would try to talk, they'd get hushed by the boys. When the movie was over all three girls were ready to leave right away. "Please, let's go home. I've had enough torture for the day," Kate said. They all walked back out to the car. Not much was said on the way home because the boys were to busy dreaming about the Spice Girls. They got home around 9:30. "I think I'm going to go to bed," Kristin said, "That movie really made me sleepy." "I think I'll go to bed too," Beth said as her and Kate followed Kristin up the stairs. The boys went to sleep about a half hour later.
