Chapter 65

The next night, Hanson and (previously) Northern Lights was really tired, but didn't want to go to sleep. They sat down and watched television. They were watching 'Jerry Springer' and someone on the show (in case you're wondering, the show's titled, "You stole my lover and I want him back!") got mad so she ran across the stage to beat the other girl up. "Yeah! Chic fight!" Zac yelled. When Kristin changed the channel. "Hey!" the guys exclaimed. "You don't need to watch a chic fight, besides, 'South Park's' on," Kristin replied. "We all know that Kenny's gonna die, now turn it back to 'Springer'!" Zac snapped in a really weird voice. Then Walker came in from the kitchen and turned the tv off. "I don't want you watching 'Springer'. Your mother isn't feeling well, so could one of you feed Zoe while I go tuck Mackie in?" Walker said as he heanded the baby and a bottle to Taylor.

A couple days later, Hanson had to go to New York to work on tour stuff. So Walker took the boys to NYC and the girls stayed home to help Diana with the littler kids. They parked the van in the airport parking lot, and headed into the airport to see the plane off. Jason led, with Taylor and Beth behind, then Zac, Ike, Kristin, Kate, the little kids, Diana, and Walker. When they finally got through most of the flashing lights and screaming girls at the Tulsa airport, it was just about time for them to board the plane. They each gave Diana and the younger four a hug goodbye, grabbed their carry ons and left. Before they went down the path to the plane, Taylor gave Beth a hug, "See ya in two weeks." Taylor said. "I'll see you...um...at 4pm," Beth replied. "What are you talking about? Oh duh! We're on Oprah this afternoon." Then Beth whispered in his ear, "Don't hug me in public." "Why not?" "Because you'll lose fans." "Didn't I already tell you, I don't care if we lose fans. Anyways, if they were real fans, they would like us no matter who has a girlfriend." Then after a few glares at Beth, they left.

A couple days later the Hanson house got a phone call. Beth picked up the phone and answered in a deep voice, "Hello, Pizza Hut delivery, how may I help you?" (A.N. Beth really did this, only to some business guy for her dad.) "Um...I think I have the wrong number." "NO! WAIT! Who is this?" Beth said in her normal voice. "Oh, this is Christopher Sabec. When is Walker going to be home? I have someone who needs to meet with them about working on a new album." "Oh, do you want to talk to Diana?" Beth asked as she handed the phone to Diana and ran into the living room laughing hysterically.

The next day, the girls remembered that Hanson was going to be on Rosie O'Donnel promoting the tour, so the girls decided to play a little prank on Taylor. They knew he always wore his pager on vibrator, and that he had just put a new battery in the beeper, so the vibration would be really strong. The girls paged him, it turns out that they paged him right when they were on camera. Taylor was answering a question about Zoe when all of a sudden his voice started vibrating and he started shaking a little bit. Rosie started laughing and said, "Taylor, honey, why are you shaking?" Taylor took off his beeper, looked at the number, then looked straight into the camera, "Beth, Kate, Kristin. I know it was one of you, so cancel the page and don't page me again." The girls started laughing hysterically. "So who's the girls that paged you?" Rosie asked. "They're Northern Lights," Isaac answered. "Oh, I had them on. They're so cute. Ok, Kristin's the drummer, Kate's the guitartist, and Beth's plays the keyboards, right?" "Beth's something else to," Zac said. "Oh really, what?" Rosie asked curiously as Taylor shot Zac a glare, so Zac just sang quietly, "Taylor's got a girlfriend, Taylor's got a girlfriend." over and over until Taylor hit him in the back of the head and hissed, "Shut up!" "Hey! It's true," Zac shot back, rubbing the back of his head. "What's true? Who has a girlfriend?" Rosie asked. "Taylor!" Zac said through a fake cough. "Well where are they? Shouldn't you call them back?" Rosie suggested. "No, see, the public wasn't supost to know about this until after a while," Taylor said. "Oh, we can call them, they won't mind," Zac said as Rosie pulled out a phone from under her desk. "Zac, too bad you don't know the phone number," Taylor said, despraitly trying to get out of calling them. "Like I don't know the number to my own house!" Zac exclaimed as he hit the speaker phone button and was about to start dialing when he stopped, thought for a second then asked, "Ike, what's our area code? Oh duh! It's 918." Then continued dialing. Back at the house, the phone rang. Diana answered it, "Hello." "Hey, Mom this is Zac." "Aren't you supost to be on Rosie?" "We are. We called because we need to talk to the girls." "Oh, ok." Diana said as she handed the phone to the nearest person, who was Kristin. Kristin pressed speaker phone so everyone could hear. "Hi," Kristin said. "Hi Kristin. So what you doing?" "We're watching you embarress Taylor," Kate chimed in. "You guys are pathetic," Beth added. "Hey, it was you who dialed the number," Kristin shot back. "Ok, girls, who paged him and why?" Rosie asked. "Oh, we were eating the candy hearts Taylor gave us for Valentine's Day, and one said 'Page Me', so we paged him." "Hmmm. I hear you girls are quite the pranksters." "Well, actually, the would be Beth," Kate said. "Oh, sure balme it all on me!" "Well you are the one who suggested the hair thing and the necklace cutting and-" Kristin continued. "Ok, but I grew out of that stage." "Actually, that was kinda funny. All of a sudden we heard this scream from the bathroom. You should've seen Zac's face when he saw his teeth were green," Isaac said. "So Beth, I here you and Tay have a little thing going on," Rosie said. "Uh... uh....uh..no...mab...ye...mab...how'd you find out?" Beth asked suprised. Taylor chimed in, "Sorry Beth. Not only is Zac a peeping Tom, he's also a blaber mouth!" "Hey! How many times must I tell you? I'm not a peeping Tom, I'm a peeping Zac!" After that, they had to go to a different guest, so that was over.
