Chapter 66

When Hanson got back from NYC and got home, they had to do a little bit of school. Everyone was working on their assignment except Beth (a procrastinator) and Taylor (a slacker), they were outside playing basketball. "Are you finished with your work?" Taylor asked. "No, but you aren't either," Beth answered as she shot and made a basket. "Yeah! Two points for me!" "Well, why aren'y you doing your work?" Taylor asked. "Because I can afford to miss an assignment. We got our grade point averages when you were gone and I got a 3.7." "Oh, well, then I can miss some assignments too, because I probably got a higher average." "Actually Tay, you got a 3.2." "Well, at least Zac got lower than me." "Um, he got 3.4. Sorry." "Wait a minute! I have to tie my shoe," Taylor said as he bent over to tie his shoe, but Beth totally ignored him and passed him the ball. The ball bounced off his head. "Sorry," Beth said as she picked up the ball. "Sure you are! Just for that, I get a free shot." "Um, no." "Um, yes, give me the ball." "Nope, you're gonna have to fight me for it." "Oh, this should be hard," Taylor said sarcastically. He reached for the ball, which Beth quickly moved. "C'mon, give me the ball." "No, you're going to have to fight me for it." Then the neighbor, Emily, came over, "Oh hi Em," Taylor greeted her. "Hi guys. Are you doing anything tonight?" "I don't think so, are we Beth?" "Nope, we're not." "Well, I'm throwing a suprise party for Megan, so if you twwo and the other four want to come, it's tonight from 6-10 at my house k?" explained Emily. "Ok, we'll be there," Beth said, the nthey went inside. After Taylor and Beth went inside to tell everyone about the party that night, Isaac asked something, "So what were you two doing out there anyways?" "Ike, you're car looks incredible!" Beth said, changing the subject. "Uh... thanks, I think." Later at the party everyone was talking and having fun, when Isaac said, "Hey! I don't have a car Beth!" "You just figured that out?!" Beth said sarcastically. After the party, Isaac, Taylor, Zac, Beth, Kate, and Kristin were in the living room talking. Beth had just said something dumb, so Zac asked her, "Beth, did anyone ever happen to drop you on your head when you were little?" Yeah, my brother dropped me off the changing table once. They had to bring me to the emergancy room & my brother was freiking out, so my dad slapped him," Beth said. "That explains a lot," Zac said as everyone, but Beth, started laughing. "Huh? I don't get it," Beth said. "I said, that explains a lot," Zac repeated. After a few seconds, Beth exclaimed, "Oh I get it! Hey, that's not funny!"

The next day, everyone went to Florida to do a charity concert. After
the concert "Bop" did an interview with Hanson and Northern Lights.
The interview went like this:
Have you ever wondered who the girls who are at every Hanson
concert are? Well we have the answer. We caught up with them in
Florida at a charity concert and asked them some questions.
Q. When did you guys start traveling with Hanson?
Beth: About 5 months ago.
Q. Where do you go when Hanson's at home in Tulsa?
Kristin: We live with them.
Q. Why do you live with them?
Kate: Because our parents died.
Q. Sorry. Why don't you live with foster parent?
Zac: Because they love us so much.
Isaac: No, they did live with foster parents for a while.
Q. So why don't you still live with foster parents?
Taylor: We can't answer that question.
Q. So what do you guys do to help around the house?
Kristin: We watch the younger four, do the dishes, clean. Stuff like
         that.
Q. What's it like living with them?
Beth: It sucks! No, it's pretty col.
Kate: Walker and Diana are really nice.
Q. Which one of you girls was holding hands with Taylor earlier
         tonight?
Zac: I confess, it was me! No, that would be Beth.
Beth: Yeah, that would be me.
Taylor: Yeah, that would be her.
Q. So who asked who out and when?
Taylor: I asked her.
Beth: On Valentine's Day
Well, that's how far we got. We'll have another interview in
our next issue.
