I'm a 'made-in-Singapore' Chinese and I use the name Bakkutteh in Yahoo! Chat.
Well, for those of you non-Singaporeans/Malaysians, Bakkutteh is a type of Chinese pork soup flavoured with Chinese herbs and spices (originates from the Chinese Dialect group, the Teochews).
It's served with chinese tea and rice. Um.........very sedap (good in Malay)!

No, I'm NOT a Teochew and Bakkutteh's not my favourite food though I like to eat it.
My mom's a Cantonese and my dad's a Hainanese, so what does that make me? I look more like a Hainanese, maybe because I resemble my dad.
But on the other hand, I behave more like a Cantonese. I speak Cantonese so often and well at times that some of the local folks actually thought that I came from Hong Kong! Unbelieveable!
