41' Formosa Ketch
It all started many years as a young lad of about 6 years old. I lived in the country on a small farm and had never seen a boat, as boats aren't part of the farm life. I started school and was immediately fascinated by the pictures of boats in our school books. Since all farms have some kind if stream somewhere on the property, that is where I spent much of my time. A stick thrown in the water quickly took on the appearance of a sleek boat. Then things were added to the sticks. Before long I was a full fledged sea captain.
As time passed and I moved to the big cities, baots became a bigger part of my life. Did I ever tell you about the time I build a small raft and set out to sea on the Mississippi River?
As years passed me by I began to dream. You know how kids dream. Bought my first boat as a teenager. It was a little 12' hydro with a 40 HP Mercury motor. You talk about "go". That sucker would go. It was called "little flip".   Found out more than once why someone put that name on the stern.
Joined the Navy in 1961 and I was in hog heaven. Now I had a BIG boat and it was all mine. During my Navy career, I owned a total of 5 Navel Vessals.
After my Navy career had ended, I purchased boat after boat for many more years. From little runabouts to a couple shrimp boats in the Galveston, Texas area. Yep....boats is my life.
Now, I'll try to pick up somewhere in the last 5 years.
But you must go here to read about "COYOTE", my 41' Formosa Ketch.
