Tidbits of information about me

I like my coffee black when I'm anywhere but home. I like milk.  I like my steaks thick and well done.  I like adventure.  I love to drive.  I like al kinds of music.  I like poetry.  I like philosophy.  I like reading.  The only sure way to know what I'm thinking is to look in my eyes.  I can be extremely sweet when I want to.  You could probably never tell when I'm angry.  I smile alot.  I'm shy until I get to know someone.  I'm a friendly person.  I like to hear other people's opinions-even if I don't agree with them.  The first thing I do in the morning is pet my dog.  I hate alarm clocks.  I have an insatiable hunger for knowledge.  I am very spiritual in my own way.  I sit down and meditate once every day.  I've been called cocky in the past.  I once dated a woman who only spoke spanish. I cannot stand people who agree with everything I say-even if I AM right. I'm stubborn.  I really don't like talking on the telephone.  I get bored easily.  I enjoy my job.  I give people I like a pet name.  I don't mind telling people my middle name, but nobody ever asks.  I'm frequently asked how I remain so calm in tense situations.  When/if I have children, I would like to name the boy Cyan and the girl Celes.  Writing all this is showing me how strange I really am.  I trust my dog more than most people.  I can't stand it when people drive slower than the speed limit.  I once impressed someone by knowing the signs of road rage and how to prevent it.  My parents are still married.  I can frequently get what I want by using my charm. I feel that sleeping is a waste of time.  I love to watch the sun rise and set.  I prefer to have my room cool at night.  I hate driving a dirty truck.  I rarely go to bars.  I find that the older I get, the less I understand about women.  Intelligence is one thing that I look for in a woman.  I am most romantic between the hours of 11pm and 1am.  I enjoy living in the country.  I don't like ketchup.  I got 1st place in my third grade spelling bee.  I talk too much when I get drunk.  I have outstanding eyesight.  If my dog doesn't like someone neither do I.  I hate it when I have water spots on the shiny black shoes that I wear for work.  Breakfast makes me sleepy.  I have dated more blondes than brunettes.  I once stole a friend's girlfriend.  The smell of chewing tobacco makes me sick.  I cried at the funeral of my great grandma.  I like storms.  I once slept in a hole.  I got sent to the principal's office in 11th grade for placing a sign in my car window that said "trig sucks" & parking directly outside my trigonometry class.  I have a very vivid imagination.  When I get a cold and I'm coughing, I take a teaspoon of honey because I don't like cough syrup.  I hate being lonely.  Kids love me.  I have no sympathy for people who commit suicide.  I have the heart of a child, the tenacity of a tiger, the wisdom of a sage, and a certain country boy charm that makes me irresistable.  Finally, when I'm at home I like my coffee with French Vanilla creamer in it.

I was born and raised in Missouri.  I went to the same school all my life...which is kinda nice because I don't like moving around alot anyway.  I live in the northern Ozark Mountains...and NO, I don't run around town in overalls and cowboy boots...LOL.  I don't play the fiddle either!  Yeah, I live kind of a simple life, but that's the way I like it.  I feel sorry for people who have to live in the city all their lives...they never get to know the joys of living simply.  I may not have a lot of money, but I'm happy...and that's all that matters in life.  I've got a good job, a nice family and a dog that loves me...what more could a person want?!?  LOL.  I've been all over the United States and I've never seen anywhere with the kind of natural beauty that the Ozark Mountains have.  The gently rolling hills that are covered with trees fade down into golden grasslands in the summertime, but the real treat is in the fall...about the second week of October.  All the leaves on the trees turn brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow.  The hillsides look like a sea of fire.  I think if I ever moved from here, that is what I would miss most.

More to come soon!
