Alright, I'm gonna jump up on the soapbox for a minute and give you my views on some stuff. If you get offended easily, you may want to stop here. Some of these things may be rather controversial...so if you decide to go on, don't say I didn't warn ya!

First of all...what is the deal with these kids taking guns to school?!? I know that everyone says that you're supposed to have compassion for children...but this has GOT to be the exception. I have NO compassion for ANY kid that takes a gun to school. As far as I'm concerned, if a child is caught with a weapon at school, he/she should be PERMANENTLY EXPELLED. School is a privilege, not a right. Make these kids social outcasts...DON'T teach them to read, write, or do math...it's gonna be a waste of time and MY money anyway because they're gonna end up in prison sooner or later! If the kid USES the weapon to hurt another student/teacher, the penalty should be swift and harsh. I don't care if the kid is 5 years old or 18, the penalty for this should be death...PERIOD! Everyone today feels sorry for these kids and says "well, there was probably something wrong at home". You're damn skippy there was a problem at home...their parents are IDIOTS! I got my first gun when I was 7. My parents made it VERY clear that a gun was NEVER to be used to harm another person. Pointing a gun at someone (even if it was unloaded) would have gotten me a really good spanking and I would have never seen that gun again. I realize that some people have guns in their house for protection or whatever, but stupid people should not be allowed to own guns. If there is going to be a gun in the same home with children, the parents MUST educate their sons/daughters on firearms safety...AND keep it locked away where the children can't play with it. A little education and common sense goes a LONG way! I also feel that the parents should be punished along with the child. I would say that the threat of 50 years in prison would be sufficient enough to make some parents think twice about having a gun in the house and NOT educating their children about it!

Next...this is REALLY gonna offend some people! First of all, let me make it clear that I'm NOT prejudice toward anyone except people who are STUPID. I've had friends of nearly every color, size, shape, gender, origin and nationality. So what's the deal with terms like Chinese Americans, African Americans, European Americans, Spanish Americans etc. etc. etc.? I realize it's important to know your family's history and origins, but giving yourself a special name PROMOTES racism. Frankly, racists make me sick....there's no reason that anyone should hate someone else because of the color of their skin, where they're from, or the fact that they don't speak the same language. If people would just take the time to get to know someone before they automatically labeled them based on stereotypes, there would be a hell of a lot less racism in this great country of ours. My ancestors had slaves, but that doesn't make me a bad person or a racist. I didn't say my ancestors OWNED slaves because no human can OWN another human. Our thoughts and feelings can never be "owned" by anyone but ourselves.
My question is...why can't we shed these "special" names and all be AMERICANS??? Isn't equality what we all want? These names only make people stick out like a sore thumb. Yeah, it raises "awareness", but it also subjects people to ridicule. Anyone who is in the limelight faces more trials than someone who just lives life simply.

Sexual harassment...let us begin. This subject has been made WAY too broad in the past few years. It's getting sort of ridiculous. Flirting has been a part of life since the dawn of time. Many men are afraid to say ANYTHING to a woman these days fearing that they may be sued. Harassment IS a problem in the workplace, but the lawsuits are definitely getting out of hand. If a woman is repeatedly bombarded with sexual comments or unwanted contact after she's said no, then by all means sue the guy for everything he's got. A guy can get sued these days for telling a woman she looks nice...what's up with that?!? Another thing...when a man says he's been harassed, he's just about laughed off the face of the earth. Now we're back to that equality thing...is what's good for the goose REALLY good for the gander??? I think everyone...both men and women...need to lighten up, and realize that there is a time to flirt and a time to behave yourself. If for some reason you are unable to behave at the proper times then you're obviously stupid, so get a good lawyer! (preferably one of the same sex).

Women in combat...oh my! Who the hell brought this up anyway?!? Probably one of those radical left-wing feminist groups. You know...the ones who run around in military apparel and swear that they hate men...yeah, THOSE people. I cannot and WILL not say that women aren't as capable as men are at handling stress...I mean if they can have kids they can handle anything, right? Okay, that's all fine and dandy, but if you put a bunch of horny 18 year old males in a situation with females, SOMETHING is gonna happen. Unfortunately, the few women that are allowed to go into to combat will be passed around like the last smoke at a Grateful Dead concert. It would SERIOUSLY damage the men's morale because they would be fighting over the women and not concentrating on the objective at hand. I DO believe that women are capable, both mentally and physically, of being in a combat situation, but allowing women to be up front with the males could have very serious consequences for everyone involved...including our nation's safety.

Politically correctness...you've gotta be kiddin me! I can't even think of anyone stupid enough to come up with this stuff. SAVE ME FROM THE "GOOD PEOPLE"! I am not politically correct...no way, no how! I bought a book called The Politically Correct Dictionary when all of this jargon started. I laughed my ass off for weeks! I was like "this stuff will never catch on, it's pure stupidity!". Well, I was wrong. You can't be tall anymore because that might offend a short person...so now you're vertically advantaged. I can't even call my DOG a DOG anymore!! He is now my canine companion! Isn't this getting a little out of control? I guess I'm defined as a vertically advantaged, pigment deprived, oppressor with a size enhanced canine companion...ie A tall white male with a big dog. LOL!
