Keith Gormèzano:
Self-Portraits at 16, 30, and (permanently) 39

Self-portrait of myself at age 16 looking out a window as I self-consciously pondered my future with mustache and barely growing beard which allowed me to get into bars and play pinball machines. Self-portrait at age 30 as I entered the evil corporate work world as a drone in the exciting world of collections for a medical center. However, I was able to write off over a million dollars a year using the State of Washington's Uncompensated or Charity Care Rules for persons with medical bills and incomes less than 200% of the poverty line (which in Seattle makes one middle-class). Self-portrait at permanently 39. Smiling with my bashful blue eyes, still a Peter Sellers double, vertically challenged (5'5'') but emotionally TALL, not defining myself by what I do for a living, RICH (in affection and humor (the 'h' is silent), GENEROUS with my time for my friends, and wondering if I should dye my light cedar head and chest hair. I later did.
