Nostradamus predicted some 400 years ago that there would be TWO major eclipses that would occur in the sign of LEO in July of 1999..The first will be a LUNAR eclipse...and this WILL occur on July 28th..at 5 degrees LEO....and the second far MORE powerful eclipse will occur at 18 degrees LEO on August 11, 1999..The calendar has changed slightly since Nostradamaus time..BUT there is NO mistaking that these are the eclipses that he was talking about..!!..Nostradamus's take on these eclipses was grim in his interpretations....BUT in HIS day....the times were grim...with the black plague and the Holy Inquition at it's height..!!..The Piscean AGE was at it's height also...AN AGE of suffering and sacrifice..AND HE saw this coming eclipse as THE END~~~of ALL ENDS~~~BUT IT IS NOT~~~!!!!!
I believe with ALL OF MY soul....that this eclipse will be an ENDING~~(because eclipses ARE grim..and they are powerful...and they STIR "things" UP..very MUCH SO~~!!)....ALL sorts of FEELINGS POP out of you...AND IF you regard an eclipse as a "period of instability"....(WHICH it IS)..Where NEW attitudes come into VIEW~~~Then you will find that this period is the MOST wonderful time to GET RID of OLD stuff that has been IN your life....and to start every thing NEW~~~!!!!...MUCH easier said than done..BUT this CAN be done...and the UNIVERSE is GIVING ~~MANKIND this event NOW~~~~(AND at the same time...the majority of MANKIND is ready for this event)..TO SHED it's OLD ways and START anew...!!!..AND with the eclipse happening in a FIXED GRAND CROSS .. IN the sign of LEO~~~(ruled BY THE SUN)...I do NOT think that this is a coincidence.!!!..THE SUN in LEO is putting on a GRAND SHOW for us..and saying....SEE ME~~~~~~I AM HERE~~~!!!.....CHANGE YOUR WAYS and follow your heart and intuition MORE~!!
AS I said ..THE FORCE of the UNIVERSE (GOD)..takes care of US~~~AND this event is THE way for mankind to "collectively" change it's ways to a more POSITIVE attitude...

The thing to NOT do..is to act MORE than necessary when an eclipse is occurring....IT may be necessary to act more than you would during normal times because of outside changes...BUT do NOT do MORE than you must...!!
TEN DAYS BEFORE and THREE days AFTER the eclipse is the UNSTABLE time...THIS is called "the shadow of the eclipse"...IN the shadow of an eclipse...DON'T decide issues...OR initiate actions until AFTER this period of the "shadow".....
AN eclipse stirs things UP .... NO doubt.....SO just put OFF planning major events (marriage..new jobs..finalising business deals...signing the papers for a NEW home...etc).. during the shadow of the eclipse......Prince Charles married Lady Diana during THE SHADOW of an ECLIPSE......and we all know NOW~~~~how the marriage was in turmoil.. and how it ended..!!

WHAT IS AN ECLIPSE?
A solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the Earth and the Sun.. A solar eclipse happens every NEW moon..AND a lunar eclipse (when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon)...happens every FULL moon.....
Traditionally..the influence of an eclipse...whether full or partial..has been regarded as NEGATIVE by the ancients....bringing wars..famine..earthquakes..and the like...AlSO..with respect to the individual natal charts..the traditional interpretation .. is that an eclipse exerts a malefic (bad) influence...particularly if it falls ON or NEAR (within 5 degrees of)...a natal planet or an angle... (angle refering to one four "corners" of the chart)...the Ascendant.(1st house)..the Nadir (the 4th house)... the Decendant..(the 7th house)...and the Midheavan..(the 10th house).
Contempory astrologers...meaning those of TODAY~~ tend to see eclipses as indicating emphasis or a crisis in the affairs related to the HOUSE in which the eclipse occurs..FOR INSTANCE... should an eclipse occur in a person's second house..the native may be compelled to attend to financial matters...Should the eclipse occur near (within 5 degrees of)....a natal planet or be directly opposed to a natal planet..(within 5 degrees)...the crisis will be a major one and will be colored by the nature of the planet or planets involved... I go along for the most part with the ancient astrologers....with some hold to contempory thinking...BUT then I am LIBRA...and I see both sides.*S*
With the LUNAR eclipse...this will affect the emotions...and the effect towards the natal chart will be one of..."I MAY HAVE to deal with this situation".......WITH THIS SOLAR eclipse..the SELF..will be affected and the effect towards the natal chart WILL be one of...""I WILL "HAVE" to deal with this situation"".....according to the planets and the house involved.

When a planet squares another planet...THIS is a MAJOR aspect in any chart..which indicates challegening and inharmonious events..A SQUARE makes a 90 degree angle to another planet....and in the above chart ... we can SEE that we have FOUR SQUARES to (malefic) planets..which would naturally form TWO oppositons (180 degrees)..to those planets. SO...""HOLD on to your hats....folks...THIS is going to be ONE BUMPY RIDE~~~!!..BUT at the end of this road...the ride MAY be a SMOOTH one...depending how the MASS uses the energy of this celestial event..*S*

ABOVE we have the SUN and MOON conjunct....(meaning next to)...each other in the FIXED FIRE sign of LEO.....THEN those TWO planets (sun and moon are known as luminaries..but in astrology are refered to as planets)...
THEN notice that SUN and MOON makes a SQUARE to MARS in the FIXED WATER sign of SCORPIO...
THEN MARS makes a SQUARE to URANUS in the FIXED AIR sign of AQUARIUS...
THEN URANUS makes a SQUARE to SATURN in the FIXED EARTH sign of TAURUS...
WHICH makes the GRAND SQUARE complete....SQUARING BACK to the SUN and the MOON....NOTICE THE SQUARE THAT THE CHART MAKES...!!!

MEANING~: That there is a connection between the Heavens and the Earth...That the Heavens and the Earth are united..and sharing a common space and time...The great cosmic events happening beyond Earth (eclipses..planetary line-ups...etc.) ..do not cause events to happen on Earth... There is NO cause IN the Heavens and then an effect ON Earth..!!..Rather... both planetary and earthly events happen simultaneously... and are mutually reflective...NEITHER is the cause of the other...BOTH are the product of the MOMENT...ONE acted out in the Heavens ....as the other is acted out on Earth..

We will start with the SUN and the MOON conjunction..
This conjunction indicates...that the personality (SUN) and the emotions (MOON)....work well together..and that the progress through LIFE is satisfactory.!!.
THE sign in which this conjunction falls is the focal point...(because this is in a NEW MOON)..and THIS conjunction is in the SIGN of LEO~~ which is .. REGAL...RADIANT...FLAMBOYANT..DIGNIFIED...ORGANIZED~!!.
When it comes to affairs of the heart...LEO is VERY BIG hearted..*S*..IT is when the LEO pride is hurt that the personality can get a bit stuffy and arrogant..BUT this eclipse is happening during a NEW MOON~~THIS is a waning time in our lives....and a time to banish and reject things in our lives that we no longer wish to carry around with us...(Negative emotions..bad habits..diseases..aliments..can successfully be banned during this time..!!!
AND I am of the FIRM belief that this is a very positive part of this eclipse....!!!...THIS event happening during a NEW moon is ENLIGHTENING for ME~~*S*..(IT IS A CLEANSING TIME MANKIND)..AND three days before
the NEW MOON....is know as the dark of the moon....because this is when the moon can NOT be seen at all in the heavens...This is a period that you give your self a break...a time for rest...DEEP meditation.....
Another part of the chart that is VERY enlightening to me is the TRINE~~(regarded as harmonious and beneficial) ~~ between JUPITER (abundance...luck...self confidence..JUSTICE)...and VENUS (partnership..beauty..enjoyment..LOVE)
WITH the NEW moon....and A TRINE (SEE BROKEN lines in the chart above) between TWO such ((harmonious)) planets in the MIDST of the malefic planets involved in the GRAND SQUARE....is to me....OF GREAT importance to the chart as a WHOLE~!!.....BRINGING~((HOPE))...to the GRAND SQUARE~~!!!

The changed appearance of the human race will be considered shocking but "normal"...because of the detached unconventional air that will prevail......There are too many air polutants and chemical and biological components out in the atmosphere to not have some effect on the DNA structure in the future..*my opinion*..
There was a documentary on TV one night that I was watching that made so much sense when it came down to evolution...A small golden colored fish that was a part of a stream in the mountains surrounded by beautiful scenery and much sunshine for centuries....."somehow"...went INTO the caves of the mountains in TOTAL darkness and LIVED there..... And the pigment color of his scales became totally white because he had no more SUN....and he LOST his EYES~!!..The eyes were not NEEDED because it had migrated into and lived in total darkness for hundreds of years ..and no longer needed eyes to see.....THIS~~~IS what I mean ... I mean that through NOT using some of what we were born with...we WILL lose it...BUT this is evolution...NOT mutation...

Take out your chart ... MAKE A HAND DRAWING... FIND where 18 degrees LEO falls in your chart .. .and that will be the starting point of where the square will begin in your chart....And then just go around the chart and place all of the planets that will be positioned in the heavens for that day of the eclipse....(I HAVE THE CHART ABOVE)...in the appropriate houses according to the degrees of the squares to the eclipse..Then you will SEE into which HOUSES and to also to which PLANETS the eclipse will be effecting in your natal chart...*S*..IF ANY....THE houses are important for this eclipse....and IF the squares are hitting some of your planets in your chart....Then this eclipse will be of a personal nature to you...AND stuff will have to change in your life.....AND as I said..CHANGE IS GOOD~~~~IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE OF A NEGATIVE NATURE...
The houses that the square falls in are.....3- 6- 9- 12- STARTING with 12th.....because that is where the SUN and the MOON fall in my chart for the eclipse..and I have Saturn @ 6 degrees LEO and Pluto @ 12 degrees LEO in my 12th...SO the MOON will fall within the 5 degrees of the eclipsed SUN...which means that the transiting MOON will conjunct my natal PLUTO in my 12th house...(THE moon represents the MOM....and Pluto brings transformations...and I will HAVE to deal with some sort of change with my MOM...and the change will be final..because this is in my 12th house..the final house of the zodiac....and that house for me is ruled by Cancer...and the MOON rules CANCER~~~and my MOM is Cancer..)...VERY PERSONAL for my chart..BECAUSE!~~~I have MY MOON in scorpio..and PLUTO rules Scorpio..!!~~~~(FULL CIRCLE)
The 12th house is the house of spirituality....fears...afflictions...imprisonments...asylums....anxieties...sufferings from diseases...drugs...enemies....karma.....and karmic responsibilities....
THEN I go down to the 3rd house....and transiting MARS in Scorpio will conjunct..my natal VENUS in that third house...of commucication...AND I will HAVE to deal with some form of communication at this time..!!...It is also the house of brothers and sisters...((and the form of communication (for ME)...I am speaking for MY chart....remember please...))..*S*...will be with my only brother..AND it will be about the change for our MOM....This house also rules children of friends....and religious attitudes.....kindred relatives...religion of one's partner....school systems..truck drivers...~~~~AND with transiting MARS...(planet of war)..conjunct VENUS (planet of LOVE).....I am hoping that the communication will be of a peaceful nature..*S*...
THEN I go next to the 6th house....and I have no planets in that house of.. service...health and diseases in general....healing and healers...especially the first BROTHER...the first child...marriage losses, sorrow, and limitations.....legacies of friends...
THEN finally to the 9th house....and I have no planets in that house of....higher education...beliefs..religious organizations...prayer...legacies...legal affairs...the 3rd child..illness of ones parent with the combintion of the 3rd house..courts...publishings...visions...
SO........when I add all of this together for ME..I see a pattern unfolding....with my MOM..(my MoM died on January 8,2000)..my BROTHER..(my brother had 2 heart attacks in 1999)..my close relatives who are sick...(my best friend and sister in law died on Sept 22, 1999) and my SPIRITUALITY--(My "religion" is now in my heart--INSIDE of me--not in buildings of wood and bricks)~~~~~~~that will be made to shift dramatically....
AND the above that RULE the houses have so much MORE~~~!!!!!....I have put in only a few..*S*~~~~~AND that is why ..I have to say NOW~~~~~~~~that any way this is what I think WILL be for ME......AND I know that I am in for more SHOCKS~~~because of the Aquarian influence with my chart...(MY entire chart is FIXED AIR~~~~which equals to the sign of AQUARIUS~)....REMEMBER

We have inner strength, we can achieve amazing feats, we can overcome obstacles, check the history books, we are still here.
"You can light a candle to waylay the darkness or you can reside in the Light, where darkness cannot exist! " We have free will, our greatest gift.
What does one do when they are living on a beautiful planet, its diversity, gentleness and strength... knowing full well that around the world there is war, earth changes, famine and disease....? We stand together in passive protest. We WILL NOT fight, we will not hurt one another. We have free will. Each person DOES make a difference. We choose Peace. Draw energy from the Light, send love, peace and rememberance of our oneness. We are all part of the whole, we are all one race, one people, we are all of the one Spirit.
Each day we gather together for a few moments to remind ourselves of the big picture. This ritual manages to keep our sense of purpose, to rise above the micro world we sometimes fall into...going to work, completing the daily tasks, going home, tidying the house, making dinner...easy to get lost in the small picture..
The truth does set you free, remember compassion in this. Remove the judgement that others have space to grow if they so choose. Judgement leaves no room for change. I wonder if we all do the best we can, share at least one act of kindness each day to another, and remember, everyone else is on this planet with you. We are not alone. We have each other...look past a persons face, into their eyes and the spirit within, speak soul to soul.
