THE YELLOW STAR

This is a short view about the persecution of the Jews in Europe during the Nazi regime from 1933 to 1945. The pictures were published in Germany in 1960 by Gerhard Schoenberner in a book called The yellow star "Der Gelbe Stern". The Yellow Star shows the way of Sorrow for millions of people: through defamation, terror and rape to organised genocide. Original photographs shows the terror in Hitler's pre-war Germany, the misery of the Polish ghettos, the wholesale shooting in the Soviet Union and deportations from all countries of occupied Europe, the general massacre in the extermination camps, the rebellion and destruction of the Warsaw ghetto, and the liberation of the concentration camps by the Allied troops in the Spring of 1945. (edited and revised by Uri Nachimson)
