Create Gorgeous Roses in Minutes with our Easy to Follow Directions!

Directions:

Cut one 36" piece of Maxwell's Bowties Wire-Edged Paper or Metallic Ribbon. You can use any of Maxwell's 2.75" or 4" wire-edged paper or metallic ribbons. Fold over approximately 5" on one end of ribbon, overlapping to a 90 degree angle for stem. (Fig. 1) Roll outer edge of ribbon inward to the end of fold. This creates the center of the rose. (Fig. 2) Hold the stem firmly in one hand. Using your other hand, fold remaining paper at a 45 degree angle. Roll the center along edges of fold. (Fig. 3) Repeat step 3 until you have approximately 5" of ribbon remaining. Wrap 5" end down around stem. With fingertips, shape wire edges of rose to create a fuller look. (Fig. 4) To finish rose, cut a 6" piece of Bowties Wire-Edged Paper or Metallic Ribbon in your choice of green. Start at base of rose and wrap down stem. For a unique look, you can add acrylic/oil paint, glitter or spray paint to rose. Combine roses for beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, wreaths and trims. Add to packages, gift bags, floral arrangements and more!
