| The Folds > Educational Programs Religious Services - As a Chapter, attend a religious service of another faith. Afterwards, discuss the differences and similarities. Go to a Museum - Take a trip to a museum and go on a tour of the facilities. Pick a specific wing or time period to study. Go to an Art Gallery or Museum - View different styles of art, both paintings and sculptures, Hold a contest to copy an existing famous painting. Award prizes to the person who is the closest. Plays, Operas, or Musicals - Attend a local, semi-professional, or professional musical, opera, or play. Afterwards, go for coffee or a snack and talk about reactions of the Chapter members. Jobs - Have a career night to which you invite member's parents or people in the community to speak about what they do. Get an Expert's Opinion - Have an expert in a field that interests the majority of the Chapter come and speak about their profession. Science Museums - Go to a science museum. Visit the exhibits as well as the planetarium. Poetry or Book Club - Have a discussion of a book that everyone has read. Or Invite another Chapter for a poetry evening, during which everyone reads his or her favorite poem. Study Session - Offer a study session where everyone helps each other with homework or test studying. This is a great way to get new members. Yoga - Have a yoga Instructor teach basic yoga at a meeting. College Programs - Offer college visits. Invite college admission personnel to speak to the chapter about strategies for applying. Farming - Spend a day on the farm. Learn how to milk the cows, feed the chickens, etc. Computer Course - Offer a course on how a computer runs and how to work a computer. Educate members on the different uses of a computer; Include word processing, spread sheets, graphic design, and the internet. Attend A Concert - Go to a concert of classical music, Folk, Funk, Rock and Roll, Jazz, Opera, or any other type of music that you are not normally used to hearing. Spelling Bee - Get your dictionary ready ... award prizes to the top spellers.
