A Special Note from Greg King...

I got this interesting e mail from Greg King about Sharon's credits:

"While spending some time on your site tonight, I noted something which, as you are very comprehensive, I think you'll want to correct. Sharon, although she in theory tested for Petticoat Junction, was never on the show, and so it was never a credit for her on TV. Also, and perhaps more importantly, Sharon was never in Americanization of Emily nor in The Sandpiper--that's why no one can ever find her. I have interviewed Martin Ransohoff, who owned Filmways and had Sharon under contract at the time, Herb Browar, who ran Filmways TV Division and was responsible for Sharon's TV work, and Hal Gefsky, Sharon's agent, and all three men confirm this--no Sandpipers (even Vince Bugliosi got this wrong), no Americanization, no Petticoat Junction, no Wheeler Dealers, etc. I do cover all of this in the book, but I thought you might like to make a note on your page for everyone who visits, or change the credits."
