A few thoughts to contemplate...

From the Constitution of the United States: Article II Section 10

"No state shall enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation; grant letters of marque and reprisal..."

The deadbeat dad system is just such an alliance! It is not legal under the constitution.

A quote by Plato:

The health of a society is inversely proportional to the number of its laws.

Statistically, it costs $50,000 to house a prisoner for a year. Where is the cents in making a person owing $10,000 in back (child support, taxes, etc...) a criminal and imprisoning them?

Working for WE THE PEOPLE (political offices, government employee, etc...) is not a right but a priveledge. Therefore, certain rights may not be guaranteed to those in office, such as privacy. Perhaps what we should do is require that all government offices have live cams in them that anyone may access through the internet and check up on the performance of OUR employees. Maybe they would get off their fat asses and actually do some of the work that they are paid to do. We could check how often they are at the water cooler or coffee pot or shooting the breeze with their fellow employees. After all, big brother is watching us, turn about is fair play!
