The BobbyBabes Meet
Patrick Cassidy
Tony Orlando and
Michael Bolton

Nancy Dugan and Suzie Stylc took us to see "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" staring Patrick Cassidy. Yes, David's little brother. It was quite unusual, as most Andrew Lloyd Weber productions are. We really enjoyed ourselves. Then we got to go backstage and meet Patrick. He was very sweet and posed for pictures with us. The surprising thing is that he's so tall. He has a beautiful dancer's body and a wonderfully powerful singing voice. Below are the photos from that meeting. Thanks Nancy and Suzie!

In Reno, on Friday night the BobbyBabes needed something to do, so some of us went to the Golden Nugget to see Tony Orlando's Show. It was really good, we all had a great time. We had great seats in the Pit. Tony had a terrific band assembled. The lead guitarist can imitate almost anybody singing. It's amazing. Close you eyes and he sounded EXACTLY like Willy Nelson. Then the next song you would swear it was Johnny Cash. He not only did country but rock and roll too.

Opening for Tony was a comic and juggler, Chris Bliss. He was totally awesome. His jokes were truly funny and fresh. His juggling was unbelievable! He juggles to music and it's more like art then juggling. His hands just fly for about 8 minutes straight. It's like watching a ballet all perfectly timed to Beatles music. If you ever get the chance to see him, don't hesitate. You won't be sorry.

I also tacked on some pictures of Michael Bolton from June 16, 2000 at the Lyric Theater. He was guest starring in a presentation of the music of Andrew Lloyd Weber. Diane and I went with Nancy Dugan and quite by surprise we met Crystal Shiner and Pat Evans in the lobby. Afterwards we went out for a snack and a rousing good time in Baltimore.
