COUNT presents:

BACK ISSUE COVER GALLERY

For obvious reasons, most of these issues are missing from my "archives." But thanks to an old catalog from Bachmnann Publications, we can give you an idea of what the covers (mostly drawn on white or colored construction paper) looked like.

Unfinished, unpublished cover for an October 1976 issue that never happened.

Unfinished, unpublished cover for a 1975 -or- 76 issue that never happened.

November 1972 issue. Not the original cover: redrawn by Charlie Bachmann for a "Back Issue Rental Catalog".

June 1973? Included reviews of TV's CIRCLE OF FEAR and, of all things, THE MUSIC MAN. Cover redrawn by Charlie Bachmann.

cir. 1972 or 1973. Cover redrawn by Charlie Bachmann.

Summer (probably 1973) issue. "Delivered by the Editor." Cover redrawn by Charlie Bachmann.

Probably 1974 -- the magazine's grisliest period. Cover redrawn by Charlie Bachmann.

"The Magazine Monsters Believe In," full of the usual bullshit. I believe that's blood that the Count has just dipped into. Cover Redrawn by Charlie Bachmann.
