                       DRUNK(S) OF THE WEEK

No more! Time to grow up guys!

What now?

Well, I could give you some news about people here and there but then reckoned you wouldn't make the effort to investigate by yourself anymore. So my recommendation is: take part to Adam's discussion board and post a message so that... (so that what by the way?) I don't know, whatever! All I have to do now with this site is basically to improve it technically speaking (which might take me some time since I'm really lazy on this) unless some breaking news come up. Anyway, I think I'll move from now on to my brand-new other site at http://www.geocities.com/hollywood/boulevard/5757 dedicated to movies of course! Yet, keep checking out this one until I release the mourning edition. So long! Oh by the way, I can't leave you right now without giving you a hint about my favorite places in Bloomington:

My personal Best Of Bloomington

- Siam House (Thai)

Varied dishes, overall light food, more or less spicy on demand, ask for the Thai cake to be warm

- Taiko (Japanese)

Great abundant sushis, the waitstaff is very nice, just the setting is a bit gloomy

- Kaya (Korean)

Varied menu, pretty spicy but very healthy food, the waitstaff is truly Korean

- Runcible Spoon

Nice place to be on your own (to study, read or meditate...) or with close friends, most friendly waitstaff, laid back atmosphere, cosy setting, great brunches

- Stefano's Café

Tasty paninis, good music (usually jazz), nice place to have a break on your own during summertime

- Barnes & Noble

Get a coffee and go in the middle of the bookstore: here are two comfortable armchairs that are isolated from the bunch of students who've come to study (or read magazines). Perfect place to read to the sound of Celtic music...

- Cona's Espresso

The place to go when you rush for class at 8am or get drowsy in the MBA lab, good coffee mixes (cafe au lait, cafe latte, etc.), not so good espressos, a bit expensive but you can get one coffee for free if you sign up for ten

- Bullwinkle's

Good techno & dance music, great lights (laser & stroboscopic), $1 shots (try the cactus juice!), fun drag queens shows from time to time, open-minded people only

- Second Story

The right place to be to enjoy Latin Parties (once a month)

- Bear's

Three different sections (including one with a warm cosy fireplace), usually good concerts and movies in the back section, great pizzas and cocktails (try the Brandy Alexander!)

- Upstairs Pub

Human-sized bar, warm setting, but service is uneven

- Lennie's

Definitely within (geographical) reach, lots of beers (but that's it!), no-smoking place, the food is rather fine, the apple cinnamon tea is good but service is totally uneven

- Elysian Fields

At Bluebird, famous 70s-90s songs, good performance, nice lighting effects too

- Tracks

Best place to get used CDs, a listening station enables you to check out whatever CD you like

- Quick Pic

Best place to get your pictures in one hour, student discount, open on Sunday, just a bit far...

- The IMU Bookstore

Best price to resell your books!
