The New Morty Show is out of control! Their shows are performed
much like old Louis Prima and Keely Smith revues. The band is fueled
by their vocalist Vise Grip (a.k.a. Bald Guy). Vise is a singer, comedian,
and an actor. His style comes across as a mix between Cab Calloway and
Jimmy Durante.
They really mix up their styles of swing. They range from
the old Woody Herman favorite "Caldonia", and they songs such as Billy
Idol's "White Wedding" and Metallica's "Enter Sandman" and they turned
them into swing songs! That's gutsy!!! The best way to describe them is
to say that they are a swing band that has a ska/punk intensity to them.
