Dear Mother
I thought we would drop you a few lines to let you know that we are among the living. Yet leaves us not very well the baby and Alice Has got bad colds.
We got moved last Thursday it was fairly nice. But we had a rain, Sleet and snow a Sun. and Mon. night. We have had 4 weeks of cold weather for Chris.
I am certainly late sending this card they got misplaced and I couldn’t find them

I wrote you a letter Dec8.but didn’t get it mailed so decided to put cards in with Johns letter instead of my letter this will be a dull Xmas for us. We are not planning any thing Js is going to get Alma something tomorrow.

This card I believe to be written by Sara Alice 'Smith' Enz to her husband's parents and she sign her daughter's name Alma (named after her sister)to the Christmas card

Well mamma I received your letter. I feel more like I had a Ma. it seems like you had left and I never would hear from you until I got your letter. Tell Pa I sent him his card quite a while ago .meant to send them to you and her but wanted to write.
