We are the Bryner family. We consist of Chad, Kim and baby Jacob. Let's start at the begining . . . Chad and I met at work in the summer of 94. I was the secretary at the company Chad was working for. We noticed each other and started to talk a little at first, then the talking got progressively longer. Chad was still a little on the shy side so he waited for me to ask him out. After our first date, Chad got on the ball and asked me out. We only had a month together before I went back to college in Utah, a long way from Dallas. We knew, however, that this long-distance relationship would last. Sure enough in October of 94 Chad proposed. I, of course, said yes and the planning began. We were married on March 10, 1995 in Dallas Texas. We had a wonderful honeymoon at DisneyWorld (the best place for a honeymoon we think). We then moved up to Utah so I could finish school. We loved being up in Utah with all the other married college students! We had many happy times there and some sad times. In the summer of 96, we found out that I was pregnant, only to find out it was an ectopic pregancy. We were both saddened by that lose, but knew that special baby would try to join our family again someday. In August of 96 we moved back to Dallas so Chad could work on his schooling. We were glad to be back home, but missed Utah a lot. In the summer of 97, we found out I was pregnant again. We tried not to get too excited at first, but once it seemed that this pregacy would last, we were overjoyed! I thought all along it would be a boy. Sure enough, in October the ultrasound should us it was indeed a boy. His due date was March 20, 1998. After a very easy pregancy, I gave birth to this 10 lb. 8 oz boy on March 27. You can see pictures of him, and read all about what he is doing on his web page. As for Chad and I, we are enjoying this new leap into parenthood. It is difficult, but worth it!
