"GET OFF OF HER!!!" Nick yelled.

"YOU LITTLE BITCH, WHAT DID I TELL YOU. KNOW YOU ARE GOING TO PAY." Amy said.

Amy made the knife more visible to everyone in the store. Jessica was the first one to notice the knife.

"SHIT, SHE HAS A KNIFE!!" Jessica cried.

Just then Amy plunged the knife several times into Jessica's arm, then her thigh, and in her abdomen.

"GOD, PLEASE MAKE HER STOP!!!" Jess yelled.

Nick and another man in the store jumped on Amy and threw her off of Jessica. They fought her and got the knife away. Mall securtiy eventually came, but not soon enough.

B.J. and Leslie were crying in fear of what they saw. Jessica layed in a puddle of blood that was seeping into the carpeted floor. And what was even worse was that their own brother had wittnessed this.

"Nick I...." Jessica whispered.

Nick put his finger up to her lips. A tear sliped down his cheek.

"Shhhh...your going to be alright Jess...I promise you...Please just hang in their baby....I love you Jessica, I love you so much." Nick said as he held Jessica's head in his lap.

Just then the EMT's came into the music store. They loaded Jessica onto the stretcher and put her in the ambulance. Nick rode in the back of the ambulance with Jessica and held her hand. He had called Brian who was with Kimberly, he told them to pick up Leslie and B.J. and bring them home. Then he instructed them to meet him at the hospital.

When they wheeled Jessica into the ER, they immediatly asked Nick questions. Nick answered them the best that he could and then went to find were they had taken Jess.

"Ok...can you tell me your name honey." the doctor said.

"Jessica."

"Alright sweety, you were stabbed, do you know where you are?" The doctor said.

She nodded. Then Jessica looked frantically around the room.

"Nick?" Jessica yelled. "Please, I want Nick."

"Ok sweety we will go get him."

The doctor went out to the waiting room and got Nick. He walked to the examining room and his heart sank when he saw Jessica. She had IV's attatched to her arm, and she was ghostly pale.

"Nick." Jessica said with a bit of excitment. She was greatful to see him.

"Yeah baby..I'm here. I called your sister and she should be coming soon." He gently kissed her hand.

"Nick are you hurt? Did she get you?" Jessica said while tears started to fill out her dark eyes.

"No...No...kiddo she didn't get me. I am so sorry this happened to you. I told you I would never let her hurt you. I broke my promise to you Jess, I am so sorry." Nick broke down crying.

Jessica gently stroked his hand with her thumb.

"Shhhh....Nicky....come on now!!!" She said soothingly. "It's not your fault. Please Nick, don't ever think this was your fault." she said.

Nick whipped his eyes and squeezed Jessica's hands lightly.

"I love you baby." He said.

"I love you to." She said quietly.

Then the doctor came back into the room.

"I'm sorry Nick, but you are going to have to go back into the waiting room. We are going to take Jessica to surgery. We have to see if she has any nerve damage, and then we have to stitch up her stab wounds."

Nick walked back over to Jessica. And gave her a soft kiss on the lips.

"I'll be here when you get out of surgery alright kiddo. Your sister will be here to. Your in good hands. I love you." Nick said before he walked back out into the waiting room.

Just as he walked out Kimberly, Nicole, Brian and Kevin frantically ran threw the ER doors.
