"Hello" He said.

"Hey Nick! It's Kim, I hope I didn't wake you."

"No...No...don't worry about it." Nick said while glancing over at Jess.

"Good....do you know when they are releasing Jess from the hospital?"

"Ummm...I think the doctor said when she is fully awake, and after she get's examined." He said.

"Ok, I just wanted to know. I am going to set up her room for her. She is probably going to be exhausted when she get's home." Kim said.

"Yeah, your right."

"Well, I'll see you two when you get home." She said.

"Ok, bye."

Nick hung up the phone and watched as Jessica began to shift lightly in her sleep. He softly took a hold of her hand and rubbed his thumb gently over her skin. Her eyes slowly opened.

"Hey sleepy head." Nick said.

Jessica let out a big yawn. "Hi Nick." She said with a smile.

"How are you feeling sweety." He said.

"Well, I am ready to go home if that is what you want to know." She said with a grin.

"That sounds good to me, let me go and get the doctor." Nick left the room to get the doctor.

"Goodmorning Jessica. Are we doing a little better this morning?" The doctor said.

Jessica nodded her head.

"That is good, well everything looks all set to me. But before you go I will have a lab technician come in and draw some blood." The doctor said, and then she walked out.

Jessica slumped back in her bed and her eyes got wide with fear. Nick couldn't help but chuckle a little at her.

"What's so funny Nick?" She said.

"You aren't afraid to get your blood taken, are you?" He said.

"No!!! I just wanna go home, that is all." She said, but she wasn't to convincing.

"Oh ok." Nick said with a smile. He knew Jessica was just trying to put on a front.

Just then the lab technician walked in with the blood tray. Jessica quickly began to tense up. Nick noticed this and reassuringly grabbed her hand. After the blood was drawn, Jessica put on some sweat pants, and a t-shirt, and was put in a wheel chair. Nick helped wheel her out to the car.

"This is fun." Jessica said. Nick was running down the ramp as he was pushing her.

"I'm glad you like it." He said.

He helped Jessica into the car, and then drove back to Kimberly and Nicoles house. Nick helped her out of the car. When they opened the door everyone yelled SURPRISE!!!!

"Oh my goodness!" Jessica said with excitment.

She looked around the living room. She saw B.J, Leslie, Aaron, and Angel. Mr. and Mrs. Carter were their also. Brian, Kevin, A.J., and Howie were also their. Nick helped Jessica into the house.

"Can I get you anything?" Nick said to her.

"No, but actually I am pretty tired. Would anyone mind if I went upstairs and took a little nap?" Jessica said.

"No, we don't mind. Take as long of a nap as you need." Said Howie.

"Ok thanks you guys, and thankyou all for being here. I'm sorry I am not that much of a partier today." she said with a sincere smile.

Nick helped Jessica up the flight of stairs and into her bedroom.
