"Nick are you sure it is no problem if I sleep in the guest room?" Jessica asked him.

Nick undid the bed spread and fluffed up the pillows for her.

"It is absolutly no problem at all babe." He said while giving her a soft kiss on the cheek.

Jessica smiled at Nick. Nick had realised something today, something that he had never experienced before. When he looked at Jess his heart responded in a strange way. It would beat much faster, her smile made him melt inside. Nick had always cared for Jessica since he met her, but it has gone deeper then just caring for her. Nick was beginning to fall in love with her. Even though they have been dating for a few months, they have never said I love you to each other. Even though it was irrelevant that they both did love each other very much.

"Here Jess, I brought you a pair of boxers and a t-shirt." B.J. said.

"Thanks B.J." Jess said.

Nick and B.J. sat on the bed and waited while Jess went into the bathroom and changed into some more comfortable clothing.

"Did you call the police Nick?" B.J. said.

"Yeah, mom and I called earlier. They set up a bugging system on Kimberly's phone line.....but the thing is, who ever is doing this is very clever. They can't trace the line because she keeps calling from a cellular, and she never calls from the same place."

"Man!! Do you think it is very serious?" asked B.J.

Nick looked down to the floor. "I don't think so....but I have no way of knowing what an obsessed crazy jealouse fan is capable of."

Just then Jess walked out of the bathroom , and the subject quickly changed. Nick noticed Jess yawning and he motioned for B.J. to exit.

"I'll see you in the morning....ok Jess?" B.J. said.

"Ok, thanks B.J." Jess said while smiling at her.

Jessica got comfortable in the bed. Nick just relaxed laying on his stomach watching her.

"Nick??"

"hmmm??"

"Could you just stay here with me untill I fall asleep?" She asked him.

He reached his hand up to her cheek and caressed it. "Of course I will."

She layed back in the bed, and Nick pulled the blankets over her. She layed her head in his chest and he played with her hair. Once she was asleep he kissed her lightly on the forhead and gently positioned her on the pillow. Then he walked out of the room. "Hi Honey!" Jane said as she was walking to her bedroom.

"Hey mom." Nick said while yawning.

"How is Jess doing?"

"She is ok, she is a little scared about the phone call and about what happened."

"I know honey. I can't believe a fan would ever do this. You know in the 5 years you have been a backstreet boy I have never seen a fan act this way."

"Me either, but....I mean some people are just crazy I guess."

"I'm going to go to bed, Jess knows that we are hear for her if she need us right?"

"Yeah I told her, and she really appreciates it."

"Alright sweety. I am going to go to bed. I saw Kim's car pull up, maybe you should call her and tell her Jess is here."

Nick walked over to the phone and dialed Kimberly's number. She finally picked up.

"Kim?"

"Hi Nick? Have you seen Jess, she isn't here, and she didn't leave a note." Kim said worried.

"Don't worry. She is sleeping in the guest bedroom at my house."

"Oh..ok....but why?"

"Well I know this is going to sound weird but I am seriouse."

"Ok tell me."

"Their is some 20 year old fan named Amy that is stalking and threatning Jess."

"What?? Oh My god!!"

"Yeah, we called the police because today when we were blading, someone placed gravel infront of the road, Jess went flying she lost control and got scraped up."

"Is she ok?" Kim asked with shock in her voice.

"She is just shaken up a bit. With a couple of cuts and bruises to go along with it. The police bugged your phone lines just so they could tell where calls are coming from."

"Ok, that's a good idea."

"They said that they will keep a look out, and when we go out anywhere as a group, we will have extra security with us. Kim, I love Jessica and I never wanna see her get hurt."

"awww...Nick you are so sweet....what did you just say?"

"I said I love Jessica."

"Did you tell Jess yet?" Kim said with happiness.

"No, not yet...I will tell her when the time is right. I want to wait untill things calm down a bit."

"She likes you so much Nick. She is so lucky to have you. You and the guys are the best thing that has happened to us. Brian and I are so happy, and Nicole and Kevin are adorable. You do realise you are Jess's first real boyfriend right?"

"Yeah I know." Nick said smiling. "That is why I am taking my time with the LOVE word, I don't wanna blow anything."

"Your a great guy Nick. thanks for taking care of my little sister. I'll come over tomorrow afternoon with Nicole, I think we should try and keep Jessica as busy as possible so she doesn't have time to think about this crazy fan."

"Good idea kim.....See ya tomorrow."

"goodnight Nick"

Nick hung up the phone and walked up the stairs. He cracked open Jessica's door and saw her fast asleep snuggling with Nick's teddy bear. He smiled and went to bed in his room.
