Fifteen years ago, my mom and my older sister took my niece and me to a Toys R US on St. Patricks day. The Cabbage Patch Kids were really popular around that time. When we got to the CPK section, there were only 3 kids left, a Kid and 2 Preemies. My niece, who's the same age as me, got the kid, I picked the preemie. Her name was Oona and I've had her ever since. During that time of the CPK craze I got 4 more. When I got a little older, I put me kids away. My interest was rekindled when I bought a CPK when I was 18 for my neighbor's daughter on her first Birthday. The neighbor kid didn't want it, and gave it back (she wasn't into dolls yet!). Then I took my kids back out. Last year, my older sister seeing how crazy I was over my kids, bought several of her own from secound hand shops, and fixed them up. Soon after she started getting them for me too, I also bid on some on Ebay. Now here we are. Today I have 60 kids...........and counting.
