1.All the child porn on the net is over 30 years old.

MY RESPONSE People who make these claims are either uaware,misinformed or in some cases they are flat out lying.I do news searches on this topic on pretty much a daily basis and I could fill volumes with the number of news reports of arrests of persons who are currently molesting children,making photos and videos of these molestations and disseminating them via the internet.

2.Child pornography is a deterrent.Viewing child pornography allows a pedophile to "blow off steam" so that they will not be tempted to molest.

MY RESPONSE In the majority of arrest aaccounts that I read (and once again I could fill volumes) I find that the molestors and would be predators are also in possesion of child pornography.It did not seem to deter them.

3.Constitutionaly,"Free Speech" protects ones right to view or possess child porn.

MY RESPONSE This is a ridiculous,uneducated assertion. The Constitution of the U.S. does not protect those that possess,produce and disseminate child pornography.The Supreme Court has ruled that child pornography is not protected speech.The federal goverment has enacted laws against such.Every state has a law to deal with child pornographers.Even the very few states that did not have possession laws on the books are working on correcting that and many states legislatures are working on stiffer penalties for offenders.And once again I would like to remind those "free speechers" that it is s-p-e-e-c-h , not s-p-e-a-c-h.

4.You cannot legislate thought.

MY RESPONSE Who's done that? Crime photos are objects,not thoughts. "I think I am hungry for an orange" is a thought.An orange is an object.

5.You cannot legislate morality.

MY RESPONSE Sure we can.We have.been doing it for a couple of centuries here in the US. Thou shalt not kill,Thou shalt not steal,Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor etc.

6.People who "just look" are not part of the problem.

MY RESPONSEPosters post for the benefit of lookers.Increase in demand ,..increase in supply.Econ 101 or 6th grade Social Studies.

7.There is nothing wrong with looking.It's natural.

MY RESPONSE There is something very wrong and very unatural about looking at photos of crimes being commiited against children and feeling arousal and delight rather than compassion for the victim.

8.The children in the pictures look like they are happy.

MY RESPONSE I am not going to respond to this one.I will let one of those children do that Click on the banner.Let it load and scroll down to the photo of the smiling little girl for her response.
