Flower arrangement


I'm learing Japanese flower arrangement Ikebana in my company's club. Ikebana is very difficult for me, but I enjoy it. I think some important points in Ikebana are follows;

*How to express the space in the whole work.
*Color balance
*How to show the look best flowers and leaves, and so on.

Our club has held our own exhibition at observatory space of Telecom center inOdaiba Tokyo last summer.(Odaiba is bay side area in Tokyo) I would like to show you some works from our exhibition.

In this exhibition we shared two parts, one part made Japanese atomosphere and another was summer atomosphere. Please look at these pictures.


We made this work at the entrance.

Main materials: anturium red and green, and Ivy

We decorated this Japanese style work by the window, you can see the Tokyo bay in the background.

Main materials: bamboo and lily

By another window we also decorated Japanese style work, and you can see the Fuji Television HQ and broadcast center in the background.

Main materials: bamboo and sandersonia

We made a big decoration.
And from another direction.

Summer flowers arrangement.

Main materials: sunflower, dracaena and Phormiun tenax.
