VILA DO CONDE - PORTUGAL

Who comes to "spend" some vacations in the North of Portugal must go one day (or more) to Vila do Conde.

Vila do Conde is very animated on cultural level during June, July and August.
This is a city with many events. The most known is "Festival of Short Movies of Vila do Conde".
In 1996 was organised one event called "Art Move" where the streets were animated by street shows. The "Art Move" had also live music (on stage) with new names from Portuguese Music.
The bookseller's fair is attractive not just because the editors but also because the place where it happens, is in a place encircled by gardens and very near the river!

Vila do Conde - a place to visit when travels to the littoral north of Portugal!
