As a youngster, Jeff was very much into sports...he started with T-ball, then played the positions of pitcher and catcher with his little leauge team. He played baseball and football in both junior high and high school and was a naturally talented athlete.
Of course, he also became interested in music at an early age, and was also a naturally talented musician. When Jeff was in third grade, he started piano lessons, and the next year he added violin lessons. Additionally, he learned guitar, he was in orchestra in junior high, and he played bass guitar in his high school jazz band. His parents, however, did not realize until he was out of high school that Jeff would be drawn to a career in music.His first major beak was with Clint Black and then on to Little Texas.
