May we all start 2000

With things bright and new

I'm willing to risk it,

"How about You?"

Let's dream of a world,

over and over again

Where all of our neighbors

Will be a true friend.

The kind you can count on

When things are going bad

To hold your hand in sorrows

To cheer you when you're sad

May "2000" bring us Hope,

Our will to just 'try'

If we don't have hope..

Then we might as well,

Lay down and die.

May "2000" bring us peace

the civilized kind,

True peace is in God,

It's there for us to find.

May we all find "Agape" Love,

Which can only come

From our Heavenly Father

Sitting on the throne above

Without Faith, Peace and Love..

Life would be sad and forlorn

God's been there to give to us,

Since the day we were born.
