"The Lamb," a thriller currently in development at Paramount, focuses on the life of an international pop/rock superstar named Chris Gaines. The CD was conceived as an introduction of Chris Gaines and of his music. The collection represents the "greatest hits" of Gaines, and the musical sounds span the decades of the '80s and '90s. Produced by Don Was, it contains fourteen original songs. Liner notes in the CD package will provide listeners with the details of Gaines' life and career. "Garth has accomplished a feat of Herculean proportions," said Was. "He has summoned up the long-gone thrill of innovation, adventure and risk that was once the foundation of rock 'n' roll music. The first single from the Chris Gaines project, "Lost In You," will be shipped to Top 40 and A/C radio stations in August.
