Eddie Welsh, pictured to the top right, graduated from Berkely High and went to Florissant Valley College in St.Louis, Mo. He has been in the music business since 1980 and recently media consulting. Eddie started a rock group called "Youngblood" which was one of the first rock groups on American Cablevision in North St. Louis County. As lead guitarist - and vocals and keyboards - he developed a new band called "Special Forces". Special Forces was also a band that played on American Cablevision and around North County. One of the band's most memorable experiences was was playing at America's Center to a sold out crowd. After that Eddie went into recording and production. He has now ventured into media and promotional consulting and is looking for gigs doing commercials and other media work. Now that the summer season is winding down Eddie is working for the "Grand Illusion" of all blacklite theatrical groups, the Celestial Theatre. Eddie says he is here to "Promote and handle media consulting for all the great upcoming happenings the Celestial Theatre has planned... And, you to can hear me on local St.Louis radio just listen to WGNU 920 a.m." Eddie also has some media work planned for KWMU and KDHX in the near future. He is an avid baseball fan, a Styx fan, a big fisherman, and believes heavily in all the trails being developed in the Bi-State region around St. Louis, Mo. Eddie also told me he is interested in forming a new radio station for the St. Louis market. If you have similar ideas please contact Bill about this and I will pass it on to Eddie.
